Boketto Restaurant Koh Lipe — Restaurant in Satun Province

Beautiful romantic spot part of a the irene resort which seems like a stunning property but once I sat down there were so many mosquitos that spoilt the dining experience. Staff was really kind to swat them off for me and offered mosquito spray but there were just too many! In a fancy place like this perhaps more coils or citronella incense would help? Tom kha was good except the squid tasted like it was frozen so it wasn’t worth the price in my opinion.

I came back for lunch and writing this as a sit here. I ordered the grilled seabass which is fantastic and a Thai ice milk tea. BUT I waited 30 mins for the damn tea and ordered the seabass later but it came first? (excuse was staff was new) . Secondly the table was not cleaned and set up and napkins were not on the table.

Quite an annoying dining experience here overall if I must say.

We had an unforgettable dinner at Boketto Sunset Restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday! The beach setting was breathtaking, and the food was exceptional. Beautiful sunset, great live music and lovely island vibes making it a truly special evening.

What impressed us even more was the value offered by the Irene Resort day pass. Not only could we fully credit the cost towards food and beverages, but we also enjoyed access to comfortable beach umbrellas, chairs, pool facilities, and fresh towels.

It was an incredible night with friends at this amazing restaurant. The highlight was the sashimi basket (need at least a few hours order in advance ) the chef personally handpicked fresh fish right from the nearby pier where the fishing boats moor. Assorted local fish with clean, fresh taste almost melts in your mouth. Our other dishes , Yum Talay , Tom Yum Goong, were really tasty with the right amount of heat.
