구글맵에 있는 봉골레 사진을 보여주고 주문을 했는데, 태국분으로 보이는 서버와 백인 사장님이 같이 주문을 받음. 맥주 한 잔하면서 기다리는데, 15분-20분 정도 있다가 주문한 메뉴가 나옴. 근데 하얀색깔 메뉴가 나오고, 보자마자 내가 주문한 게 이건가 혼동함. 분명히 사진 속 메뉴를 보여줬기에, 잘못 주문이 들어갔구나 알게 됨.
갑자기 자기들도 수군대더만 내가 주문 잘못 받은거 같다고 말하니깐 동의하고 가져감. 근데 내가 주문 잘못 들어간거면 캔슬하겠다고 하니깐 1-2분 안에 나온다고 함. 아무리 생각해도, 원래 내가 주문한 메뉴를 다시 만들 것 같은데....
카운터에 있는 매니저로 보이는 태국 여자(백인사장 와이프인지 모름)는 내가 주문 잘못된거면 취소해달라고 하니깐 계속 따지듯이 내가 주문한 메뉴는 취소하고 새로 하고 있다고 나에게 이야기하고, 사과나 상황 설명은 아무도 안함.
5분 정도 있다가 음식이 나왔는데 내가 보여준 사진에 있는 봉골레에는 고기가 잔뜩 올라가 있는데, 이건 고기가 안보임. 또 잘못 주문이 들어간건가 싶어 백인 사장에게 말하니 날마다 고기 토핑이 다르다고 함 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
그리고 가격이 진짜 리뻬에서 먹은 단일 메뉴 중 제일 비쌌음.ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 가격대비 음식맛은 나쁘지 않았는데 서비스가 완전 개차반임. 그리고 한국에도 워낙 잘하는 파스타집이나 피자집이 많아 굳이 찾아서 올 정도는 아님.
상황 설명, 주문 잘못 받은 부분에 대한 사과가 그렇게 어렵나 싶음. 비싼 메뉴안에 서비스 퀄리티도 당연히 포함되어 있을텐데.식당 안에 직원이 사장포함 5-6명은 있는데 그 누구도 안함. 직원 교육 좀 제대로 시키시길. 근데 후기 보니깐 백인사장 불친절하다는 평도 있네.
I showed them the picture of vongole on Google Maps and ordered, and a server who looked like a Thai person and the white owner took my order together. I waited while having a beer, and after about 15-20 minutes, my order came out. However, a white menu came out, and I was confused as soon as I saw it, wondering if it was what I ordered. Since they clearly showed me the menu in the picture, I realized that they had ordered it wrong.
Suddenly, they started talking too, and when I said that I thought I had ordered it wrong, they agreed and took it. However, when I said that I would cancel my order if it was wrong, they said it would come out in 1-2 minutes. No matter how much I thought about it, I thought they would remake the menu I originally ordered....
When I asked the Thai woman who looked like the manager at the counter (I don't know if she's the white owner's wife) to cancel my order if it was wrong, she kept arguing with me and told me that they were canceling my order and making a new one, and no one apologized or explained the situation.
After about 5 minutes, the food came out, but the vongole in the picture I showed you had a lot of meat on it, but this one didn't have many meat. I wondered if I ordered it wrong, so I told the owner, who is white, and he said that the meat toppings are different every day.
And the price was really the most expensive among the single menu items I've had at Lipe. The taste of the food wasn't bad for the price, but the service was completely different. And there are so many good pasta and pizza places in Korea, so it's not worth going out of your way to come here.
I wonder if explaining the situation and apologizing for the wrong order is that hard. The service quality should naturally be included in the expensive menu. Long version: ordered a risotto dish and was very specific to request the cheese/truffle vs the Shrimp risotto. When the dish came it was the wrong risotto. Another 20min to remake the correct dish but because the kitchen rushed the risotto came undercooked with crunchy rice and frankly over salted. Very authentic tasting, delicious ingredients/ the spinach was a great touch. Base tomato sauce was rich and flavorful coupled with good mozzarella. Reasonable pricing to boot and a good selection of condiments available, the chilli oil being a stand out by way of a generous ratio. All the usual beers, wines etc are available and the restaurant itself is well presented. Many of the tables were reserved, though I was able to get one - if there are a group of you it’ll be advisable to book ahead of time. No complaints about my meal here, I’d certainly go again....
