SRI Lipe Halal Thai Food — Restaurant in Ko Lipe

If I could, I will put 0 stars. I just went for a smoothie, they make me sit. I waited for 20 minutes...I couldn't believe a smoothie took that longer. I stand up and ask, otherwise I will go to another place..but then they arrived to my table...but not with a smoothie, it seems it was sticky mango rice. I was confused...I asked for a smoothie. They were disappointed, but truly, Ive just ask for a smoothie, so after all the time i had to wait, she started preparing the mango smoothie, she give it to me and I put it on the banch to recieve my change, but the banch moved and the entire smoothie spilled on the floor. They started "laughing". I asked them if they can give me a bit more, as they give me the smoothie opened. The women came and treat me bad saying me that first was my mistake to ask for the incorrect order, and then it was my fault the smoothie spilled. I was speechless. What a terrible service, not even a sorry for the bad understanding of the beginning or a nice answer for the accident of the smoothie. Never going again, they were really rude. Had my finner here on my last night in Koh Lipe. Everything was great. We ordered Tom Yum and also the Papaya salad.

The papaya salad is crunchy and tasteful. The highlight: their tom yum. It’s one of a kind. Honestly at firat I’m a bit worried about the price since it is 300 bath. But when they sent the Tom Yum, I was suprise the is coconut flesh inside. I think they use 1 whole coconut for it, was my first time as a malaysian eat coconut fleshs with Tom Yum. SUPRISINGLY, IT WAS GOOD.

For the drinks, I highly recommend to try their coconut & coconut shake. My friend had a fresh coconut juice and its so refreshing. I had the coconut shake, honestly this is the best shake I had in Koh Lipe. Others taste really bland, but this madam make me a really nice shake. I just had to order...

I had the pleasure of dining at Sri Lipe Halal Thai Food and it was truly a wonderful experience!
