I was looking forward to try out this place having found many positive reviews here. However this impression swiftly turned upside down from the initial experience. Upon entering the shop (or attempting) the door was locked and that was when I was told by the cleaning staff that the shop is not yet open. I turned up around 5 minutes before the shop opens at 9:30 AM. I recall asking the staff nicely if there is any chance of them servicing slightly earlier than expected as myself and companions needed to get somewhere. The staff looked annoyed and delivered her speech in a low, uninspired tone saying that the restaurant cannot be open since they needed to start activating their cashier machine timely. For whatever reason, I'd be ok with them telling us this discretely, but the problem was clearly her bad etiquette. Unlike any service-minded - or normal - establishments this lady chose to low-key slam the door and locked it in our faces while proceeding to mop the floor and finish her job. The staff who I think is the cashier was visibly humoured with this; and there, I thought I couldn't more disappointed experiencing this sort of behavior upon arrival. To sum up I didn't even eat here as the cleaning staff was not at all interested or passionate with any service or any customer welcome in mind; and the cashier looked entertained when seeing customers prevented entry. This rotten etiquette immediately puts a stop to our search for breakfast and some to-go coffee from this place. So ultimately we happily opted the street-side fried pork and sticky rice instead, where they serve customers with smiles and no stinky, unpassionate attitude. A whole lot more enjoyable for sure.
Of course, this is a personal experience. It could vary from other's but I do hope the staff's supremely lacked etiquette won't stink for others. To me, their self-proclaimed "Brioche from heaven" is after all, pretentious and clearly...
Read moreUpdate: My friend who is visiting here from Canada I showed her this place so she on her way home from her massage picked up two delicious brioche & 2 coffees 😌!!
Sign as we are on the constant quest of weight loss! 😂
All very good!!
I used to go here and have the occasional decadent delight here at briocean heaven and I was extremely flabbergasted at the size of these cinnamon rolls top with some of the most amazing toppings like Caramell and pecan or macadamia nut with butterscotch and Nutella with some thing else but it was so different it was so good and these brioches were like on steroids they were so huge!!
Today I went with a few girlfriends after our lunch to have some sweet dessert and we had told my friend who had never been here how big these brioches were so we get there and I was so disappointed so so disappointed in the size of these brioches which are now a quarter of what they used to be and the prices have gone up!!
180 baht for the caramel with pecan brioche - shocked me as it was so small! 🙃
The prices of this bakery are very high in comparison to others Ive been in terms of portions & price… yes! 🙌🏽
One of the biggest reasons I used to come here is because of the size of these brioches it doesn’t look like I’m gonna be coming back here now!! Love the location as I live in the area!

Read moreNever expected this place to serve such good pastries. I thought the name of the shop is just a gimmick but I decided to try it anyway. The place is actually not very big and there are limited tables for indoors. I requested for an indoor table but was told need to wait for at least 2 hours as there were reservations. The day was quite humid but in the end I settled for an outdoor table as I thought I wouldn't be taking long to finish. I went inside and was looking at the different pastries, already made my mind to order the nutella brioche but the cashier actually recommended me to try their signature "Brioche from Heaven". I asked what it was and she told me its the caramel sauce with pecans on the brioche. I am not really a fan of caramel but I decided to try it anyway. I can only say it changed my perception of caramel and it was such an awesome combination with the brioche and the pecan. The main thing was that they actually heated the brioche before serving so it was so warm and the caramel so liquidly that made the overall taste so good. Gulped it down with an iced mint tea on a humid day made a very satisfying brunch. Even though I kept thinking about the nutella brioche but I was simply too full for it. The staff here are really nice and friendly and I must say thanks for convincing me to switch and it was...
