The Cassette Sky Bar @ SO/Bangkok — Restaurant in Si Lom Subdistrict

Probably the worst sky bar in all of Bangkok. Firstly, if you’re not dressed right - forget it, they won’t let you in. So we went back another night dressed up. When we got in, it was very pretentious, which was unnecessary - because it was just a roof top with some tables and loads of staff! It had nothing on other sky bars we’ve visited.

Drinks: the cocktail waiter is sub par for an establishment like this. He made my drink wrong & used cheap alcohol. I sent it back and asked if he could make it properly, who wants a huge glass of Coke with 1 shot of Rum inside? It just tasted like a glass of Coke! He said no, and that’s how he makes it. So I ordered something else, again, he made it wrong! A cocktail doesn’t come in a pint glass! And the alcohol/drink tasted terrible.

We decided to just leave, and they charged us a fortune for the drinks 500Baht each with all the fees included. 2,000Baht on terrible drinks and bad...

Pros: Beautiful pink decor. The seating and decoration are phenomenal. The view of the city is located at the rooftop of the so Bangkok Hotel. You can see there is a wide range of beautiful signature cocktails. The workers are fully staffed and eager to help. The area is clean and spacious.

Cons: The downside is some of the menu has an hour long waiting time, but there are a few options that come right away. Another negative is that if you’re staying at the hotel you can’t charge the bill to the room even though the food is coming directly from the hotels kitchen. When ordering food on the open rooftop it is warm and seems fresh but when you order food from the bar with the cloud ceilings the food taste stale I’m not sure why that is but definitely worth noting.

Overall I highly recommend it for going out with large groups friends or coworkers. This is definitely the place to be if you love social media or Instagram...

Terrible cocktail and terrible service Mojito drinks like juice after one sip. We complain to waitresses immediately with no achocol inside cocktail. But waitress says we order Mocktail so that NO alcohol inside.

We don't accep it because I order signture and mojito at the same page and mojito is under 'Cocktail' category. And there is no any Mocktail choice inside menu at all !!

It is just because staffs need to pay if they make mistake, so they don't want to recognise and make the thing right.

Manager and most staffs cannot speak English at all. No one can help. I cannot believe it is roof bar at 5 star hotel.

Btw, I review other comments after back, maybe that comment is right, it is not because it is not so call Mocktail they say but becuase bar uses very cheap and very very little alcohol.... That's why it tastes like juice.
