Sunset seaview bar & restaurant — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

Really bad experience. We went here for sunset and were handed menues by a lady. We were approached 3 times in 5 minutes after getting the menu to take our order. We told them we needed more time to decide as we were unsure whether to buy both food and drinks, and not only drinks as we initially planned. When we were approached by the same lady the third time, she looked at us with an angry face and told us we had to order something or leave, that we could not sit there for free. We told her that we were still deciding what to order, but ended up leaving after her being aggressive. As we left she went to the bar and gathered other employees, pointed at us and likely talked bad about us.

She must have misunserstood, thinking we intended to sit there for free. Perhaps her aggression stems from inexperience, possibly being her first job and her poor English skills.

Anyway, we ended up leaving the bar and found another sunset spot and left our money there instead.

Never experienced such a lack of professional behavior in Thailand.

I hope the manager reads this and provides customer service training. The lady with a white bucket hat and skin with acne scars on her face was the employee who displayed this...

Really nice restaurant with lots of space and beautiful view. Not only good for watching the sunset but to have an overview over the Bays. The food is also really good and they have many options. We could Clchange dishes to vegetarian options easily. Staff is friendly. To reach the restaurant you can walk the steep hill. Can be tricky...
