One of the BEST restaurants for Indian Tourists in Bangkok 🇮🇳 without a doubt! 😍👌🏻
We traveled to Bangkok recently and saw this Indian restaurant in Google Map's search results, so we decided to give it a try. We went with very less hopes of finding good food. 🗺️ 🍽️
As soon as our order arrived and we took the first bite, we realised that the food quality and taste was simply awesome! Probably the most 'Indian' version of Indian food that we ate during our entire trip. There are many other Indian restaurants serving Indian food, but then while eating you will always find something amiss (in terms of taste and quality). This is definitely not the case when you eat in this restaurant! The taste, the quality and the masalas will make you feel as if you are eating somewhere in India itself 🤤 (which is rare to find in a city like Bangkok).
The portion-size is good too. More than sufficient for 2 people easily 👍🏻
The prices are also very reasonable. 👍🏻
The ambience is decent. 👍🏻
The service is good. Staff is polite and helpful 👍🏻
⭐️ JAIN food is also easily available, you need to mention it while making your order.
⭐️ Must try items: their 'Indian' Chinese food, especially Hakka Noodles 🍜 Manchurian Fried Rice 🍚
and Hara Bhara Kebab 🍢
Conclusion: This restaurant is definitely worth a visit, if you're an Indian tourist travelling to Bangkok and looking to eat...

If you’re craving authentic Indian flavors in Bangkok, Shree Khodiyar Kathiyawadi Dhaba is an absolute gem! This pure vegetarian restaurant delivers a truly satisfying dining experience with traditional Indian hospitality and mouthwatering cuisine.
From the moment you step in, the warm and welcoming ambiance makes you feel right at home. The staff is incredibly polite, attentive, and always ready with great recommendations.
The food is the real star here — every dish is rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. Whether it’s the spicy Kathiyawadi curries, freshly made rotis, or the classic Gujarati thali, everything tastes just like home-cooked Indian food. The ingredients are fresh, and the portions are generous.
I was especially impressed with their undhiyu, sev tameta, and khichdi-kadhi – packed with authentic taste and nostalgia. And their masala chai is the perfect way to end the meal!
Highly recommended for vegetarians, Indian food lovers, or anyone looking to explore the bold and comforting flavors of Gujarat and Kathiyawad. Truly a hidden...
Read moreReecent experience was not good. The food was too oily. Tandoori rotis were like papadum. When complain to owner, he just ask you to order Chapati. Daal and paneer butter masala were not good in taste. Somehow we finished our meal. Left hungry.
Don't go for A la carte here. Just go for set Thali.
Overall value for money and decent food.
We ordered Thali and 4 extra rotis. Which was more than enough for 2 people. Total bill was 495 THB.
Thali consist of 2 sabji, daal, rice and 2 rotis and sides. Salad and sides were good and was good. Check pics.
Green chutney was bit bitter in taste
They have separate Gujarati menu too. Jain food available.
Restaurant could be busy some time and you might have to wait longer.
Our food arrived within 15 min.
Overall I think this could be best option for vegetarian in that area.
Things which were not good: Server are not attentive. Or may be they are overloaded. There was fly near our table. Cleanliness could be improved. 3% extra on credit card payment is stupidity. Nowhere in Thailand I was asked for 3%...
