This is a true Bangkok hidden gem, not in terms of location since they’re in the middle of the city. But not so many know about the greatness of this small restaurant!
I’ve heard about this place from a friend few years ago, but just had the opportunity to visit recently and it BLOWN MY MINDS!
Their food is screaming comfort food all over. Everything taste homemade yet cook to almost perfection! Their beef, beef tongue, crispy pork are really really good!
Tho we didnt order one of their signature dish which is the sticky rice with Kra Pao (Holy Basil). Because we order many other crispy pork dishes. However, my most favorite dish of the night is the fish sauce fried rice, serving with fried fish. It’s so good that we even ordered this dish twice!
After we indulge ourselves with their great food. I must admit the desserts are a bit let down. We ordered two things from the menu and we just dont like them. I cant tell what’s wrong with them, we just dont like them. So dessert is the only thing that I dont like about this place. However I still gave them 5 stars because their food are so amazing! And the price point is really reasonable. Nothing fancy, just simply great staple comfort food!
Definitely in my top list of Bangkok best! And I’d love to coming back for...

The food is pricier than the average fare but is well worth it given the amazing quality of the food! The family who run the restaurant are super friendly and we had a good chat throughout our meal, even ordering seconds so that we could try a bit more of the amazing menu!
The venue does an amazing job balancing a homely atmosphere with a unique sheek look and feel.
I think we found a true gem in this little niche - they've only been open for a couple of months - but I expect big things from them! Amazing...

This is the signature dish offered by Baan who are renowned for their progressive take on Thai comfort foods and dishes.
And boy do they do it well. I will return with more people next time to try more from their innovative menu. Special mention to the owner/host who was so lovely and kind.
Also liked the Beatles and John Lennon pics on the wall and price-wise, unbelievably good value for the quality of food served. Another wee dining gem has been uncovered in...
