Kaizen sushi Pros: Location, service, spacious seating, promotions offer Cons: Price ($$$$), 10% service charge The basics: "On February 7th, we stopped by this restaurant for some Japanese food. it was around 9:30pm and we were seated right away. We ordered the the sexy role, the Wagyu salad and Sashimi Set I recommend the role. First, the flavor was fresh and the sexy role portion was big. I would suggest that they made the role smaller as each piece was a huge bite and they were cold by the time we finished the last pieces of roll. The first bites of the roll were tasty as the roll tasted fresh and neither warm nor cold. The beef salad was yummy and we finished that really fast. The salmon and tuna were average flavor and I would also recommend that the slices of salmon were smaller. (I am not suggesting the portions to be smaller, but the size of the slices) We believe that they were a little bigger for our bite size. PROMOTION at the moment: we added their Line, They gave us two pieces of Hotate spicy roll and they were tasty. Primero , el sabor era fresco y los pedazos de roll eran grande. Sugeriría que lo hicieran más pequeño, ya que cada pieza era un gran bocado y estaban fríos cuando terminamos los últimos pedazos . Los primeros bocados del roll eran sabrosos ya que el roll tenía un sabor fresco y no estaba caliente ni frío. La ensalada estaba deliciosa y la comimos rápido. El salmón y el atún tenían un sabor promedio y también recomendaría que las rodajas de salmón fueran más pequeñas( no que Las porciones deben ser más pequeñas, si no que el tamaño de las rebanadas. My sister and I usually like this restaurant but the service that we get today is a big disappointment. We order a beef menu and ask the staff if they could do in raw. They said yes but the beef come tough and overcooked from what we ask so we ask them to redo the dish. The new one is even tougher and the pieces that aren't tough are full of fat portion. I guess the cooking team doesn't know how to cook the beef. The pepper pork steak is even worst. It is very tough and dry. We don't expect such poor quality when we have to spend this much money. Other than that, the service quality is getting lower. We don't know if we want to come...

This place turned us down at 22h00 (saying kitchen was closed) google said it was open until 23h00... we were ready to spend a pretty good amount of money to eat waygu beef and the place looked like it still had a good amount of people eating there. I hope the boss gets the message as it's obviously wasn't the staff's fault. I really wish I could've given this place a 5 star rating but we didn't get a chance to. We went right across the street and got a really good upscale live rock n'roll Thai music band (and food) instead....
