This place is a hidden gem. I'm a huge beer guy and researched several craft beer places before my trip and this place wasn't mentioned once. Doesn't even show up on Google maps when searching craft beer and zooming in on the location (why?). Luckily we stumbled upon it by noticing lots of beer cans in the window.
They had cans on display (decor) from several very hard to get US breweries including Tree House, Hudson Valley, Other Half, and more! Despite not being for sale it shows this place has their finger in the pulse of the craft beer scene.
As far as the beer actually available it was quite impressive. Lots of ipas and stouts as expected, but also an impressive sour beer selection including 4 different lambic offerings from drie fonteinen! That beer is very difficult to find in the US and I was shocked they had it at a very reasonable price! The beer is all available for takeaway as well, very cool.
I did not try the food or the coffee. Place is quite small, but comfortable. Will almost certainly be back before I...
Read moreI'm pleased I found Featlab, which was very handy in location for me as I was travelling from San Saep canal or walking on the Skywalk from Central to Siam. The IPA here is really good & whilst not cheap (compared to Thai beer) is worth spending the extra on - unless quantity over quality is for you. The bar is small but cosy & the clientele friendly & so you can go alone & make new friends - as what I did. I noted some locals eating burgers & fries - which they highly recommended. The draught beer changes regularly & I enjoyed a local pineapple cider - I'm not usually a cider drinker but when it's 38 degrees outside, this was sublime. The music was very old school pop /rock. All in all a good evening & I'll be back for sure, next time I'm in...
Read moreImpossible not to like. Tiny craft beer bar meets micro US diner meets cafe. Not trying too hard to be anything and completely succeeds on this count. Bottle pricing par for the course but taps are quite sharp at 250 to 300 baht for a US pint. 40 baht off pints between 5pm to 7pm. The usual craft heavy hitters (Stone, Rogue, Evil Twin, Ballast Point etc) can be found in the fridge. Slight not picking point....4 of 6 taps...
