Stylish, spacious, and well-run — this branch of CASA LAPIN inside Evergreen Hotel is a great spot for coffee lovers and casual meetups. The interior design is modern and upscale, with plenty of seating (tables and chairs galore) that makes it ideal for working, chatting, or relaxing.

Coffee is decent — smooth with a nutty flavor profile. They also serve bagels and sandwiches, which are fresh and satisfying. The meatball sandwich was spot on. Tasted like a “real” meatball sandwich. Quality meatballs. Very cheesy. And the tomato sauce was perfect, real tomato sauce, not the sweet kind. The space is clean, well-staffed, and the team is helpful and attentive.

Overall, a solid choice if you’re in the Ratchathewi area and want a comfortable, well-designed café experience....

Ambience? 100%. It’s a cosy and aesthetically pleasing spot—perfect for working or enjoying quiet time. But I was surprised to find out they don’t have Wi-Fi, for a café in the middle of the city with many seating areas and charging ports, that felt odd. I ended up using my mobile data and stayed anyway because the vibe was just that good.

The coffee was great. I had a hot cappuccino with a medium roast, which was smooth and well-balanced. I also ordered the tamago bagel, which was tasty, but it came 30 minutes later (and only after I asked about it). They had forgotten my order, and I was the only customer there during the first hour.

The staff were friendly, though, and the space was nice enough that I’d consider returning. But maybe… put...

Most coffees are around 110 - 120B. Served in a proper cup or glass, so it's a big sigh of relief for those who are trying to reduce plastic usage. They also don't give you straws for cold drinks as a default. Nice!

The atmosphere is calm. There's free WiFi and electrical sockets for laptops, so most people come to work. Definitely a nice getaway from the 34°C Bangkok heat.

Had an iced americano. Their blend has a dark roast aroma. It doesn't go sour too fast, not too fruity. Quite chocolatey, I'd say. But the amount of ice is really over the top.

Service depends on the waiters. Some are really friendly, some can't even be bothered. But they can speak basic English...
