Crispy Pork Alley and in an alley in Bangkok , it is! The smell of frying pork permeates the air as you pass Auntie's place. Fully occupied alley seating steered us inside to the only unoccupied table remaining in the small , 10 table dining room. Thankfully , the fan was on, providing some teeny relief to the 95-degree Bangkok mid-April heat. The menu is short and sweet.....crispy pork!......served in some fashion with various add-ons. Service at lunch was decent. I ordered a plate of crispy pork and 1 plate of crispy pork fried rice. Both dishes showed up in about 10 minutes . I grabbed a bottle of ice water out of the cooler. The crispy fried pork was excellent. Crispy, crunchy, and a sliced for easy eating, this I'd the best crispy pork I've eaten to date. Just enough pork meat and fat ratio covered by the nut brown layer of seriously crunchy skin , made for perfect porkaholic indulgence. DELICIOUS!. The pork fried rice, on the other hand , was too greasy and only had limited crunchy pork bits mixed into the fried rice. Prices are still reasonable , even considering their gaining popularity on YouTube and Instagram channels. Handicap ♿️ doable Restrooms....hmmmmm. probably not. Final take... Highly recommended, but out of my 2 choices, I would stay with simple servings of just the crispy, crunchy, delicious...
Read moreCrispy Pork Alley is one of the most popular places to eat crispy belly pork. We ordered 5 dishes which are Stir-fried crispy pork Thai holy basil and stir-fried crispy pork with sukiyaki sauce, stir-fried crispy pork with chilli and fish sauce, Pad muen li crispy pork (Stir-fried vermicelli with crispy pork and egg) and Kai-kaiyee (Stir fried crispy pork with egg). I have to tell you that this is by far the most delicious crispy pork menu in the cook-to-order menu. It’s still very crispy even if it was cooked through many steps. The best dish for me is the Kai-kayee. The price is slightly higher than another standard cooking shop. But they also have very limited tables for customers to dine in. There, I highly suggest you should go before the shop opens or you will have to wait like 1 or 2 hours for your food. Overall, still...

"This was my third time eating here, but when my dish of crispy pork arrived, it seemed like I got the very end pieces – the edges were hard, dry, and burnt. I really think the vendor should have just looked at it and seen that the quality was clearly poor and should have been discarded, instead of wasting it by serving it to a customer. Especially since after my dish came out, it was quite a while before anything else came out of the kitchen. Then, when the next plate was served to the table next to us, their crispy pork looked perfect and wasn't...
