We recently celebrated New Year’s Eve at a restaurant with a reservation for a table on the second-floor private balcony, and it was an incredible experience.
Upon our early arrival at 6pm, we were delighted to choose a table right in front of the river, offering the best view imaginable. The highlight of our evening was the exquisite Thai gourmet cuisine. The menu featured a range of delectable dishes, from succulent river prawns and classic Pad Thai to the flavorful Tom Yum Kung. Each dish was a testament to the kitchen’s dedication to quality and taste.
Our experience was further enhanced by our server, Jack. His friendly demeanor and professional service added a personal touch to our evening, making us feel genuinely welcomed.
The ambiance of the place was just perfect for the occasion – it had a vibrant yet cozy vibe that made our celebration even more special. We absolutely loved our experience and are already looking forward...
Read moreI had high expectations for a $250-per-person New Year’s Eve dinner, but unfortunately, this restaurant fell far short. The liquor offerings were bottom-shelf at best—completely unacceptable for the price point. The service was abysmal, with staff inattentive and seemingly overwhelmed.
When it came to the food, it was clear it had been sitting out for hours. We arrived at 9:30 PM, expecting a fresh and enjoyable meal to celebrate the evening, but instead, we were met with cold, lackluster dishes that lacked flavor and effort. It felt like an afterthought rather than a celebratory feast.
I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special New Year’s Eve experience, and I certainly won’t be returning any other time. For the price paid, the overall experience was unacceptable and disappointing.
They view of the river is very nice. That’s the nicest...

The service peaked serving our first round of drinks, then went down hill from there. The restaurant wasn’t all that busy, but the waiting staff seemed a little discombobulated.
We had Vegetable spring rolls which were ok, but were a little greasy, after that, I wasn’t invigorated for our main course. Our starter plates sat there for around 25 minutes, before we initiated the staff to take them away.
The Vegetable Koh Soi saved the day, it was full of flavour and heat! Delicious and filling. I’m not sure what happened to the tofu, as it was more like 3 crisps submerged in the yellow curry.
Looking through other reviews, it’s seems tonight could have been a bad day at the office. I wouldn’t let that deter you...
