Alright, I’m going to take time and provide an accurate review for this hotel.
Please only visit this place if you’re looking for a proper Thai hospitality.
The taste of the owner of this hotel is top-notch. The interior, the authentic teak wood furniture, wooden flooring, small details like fabric tissue bags, unique basin tap, refreshing welcome drink, everything felt like a lot of love and effort has been given in building this place.
If there was more time, I would definitely meet the owner to praise this place in person.
The staff is very friendly and humble. Miss Kitty (or Tikky, sorry I don’t clearly remember the name) has been a fabulous host.
My wife and I enjoyed all the time spent at this place. Being vegetarians, we couldn’t get enough options at the restaurants but we understand, Thailand being a major sea-food consuming country.
I wish there were more hotels like this in the city. This place felt like home.
We spent around 8000 baht for 2 nights stay which was worth it.
Thank you for making our stay memorable. Looking forward to...
Read moreWe had a lovely 4 night stay. It was our first time to Bangkok and we wanted to be on the river. The location, grounds and view were perfect for that. It was a short 4-5 min walk to Phra Arthit dock to catch the tourist boat which takes you to Grand Palace, reclining Buddha, China Town among other places. We also walked past the reclining Buddha one day for a canal tour. It look about 30 mins but it was warm. Khoa San market is a short walk from the hotel. I really liked Wang Lang market. Smaller scale, less overwhelming and there’s sushi.|We enjoyed coffees on the patio each afternoon. It was annoying that hotel taxes of 17% were added to the prices. We did not eat at the restaurant because of that but it didn’t spot us from enjoying the afternoon views. There’s coffee shops, massage spa’s and restaurants nearby. |The room was spacious. The bed was hard but pillows were good. They replenished 2 water bottles daily but there are many 711’s nearby. Also make sure you have bug spray. The bite in day time too. Staff...
Read moreSuper late review but I stayed here for 10 days when I was in Bangkok, Thailand. We booked their Colonial Riverfront Suite, it was splendid. Spotless clean, spacious room with a classic french interior design which I love cos I felt like a princess. It has a separate living area and a bedroom with balcony overlooking the bridge and chao praya river where you can see the boat cruises at night. It was really unforgettable. It felt like home. The staff were also very nice and accommodating. Our booking didn’t include breakfast however they offered us a free breakfast throughout our stay! Kapunka Hiranyakul! 🙏🏻☺️
The only downside were the location cos it was difficult to find. Even grab drivers get lost. 😅 And they don’t have a food menu in english. But I will still come back here when I get the chance to visit Thailand again cos I consider this hotel my home in Bangkok. 🙂 I certainly had a great stay! By the way this hotel is near Khao San Road, just a...
