My husband and I found this little restaurant four years ago when we found ourselves a bit lost in this part of the city. Let me tell you, in the years since, this place has remained etched in our memories as one of the best dining experiences we've had in Thailand. I make it a point to recommend it to anyone who ventures this far.
Returning just two days ago, we couldn't resist ordering the same dishes that had impressed us so much before. For starters, we indulged in wontons followed by fried shrimp wontons (with that unforgettable sauce!) and, of course, shrimp wonton soup. Clearly, we have a soft spot for shrimp. :)
What truly warmed our hearts was seeing that not only had the restaurant survived the pandemic, but also that the same lovely ladies who greeted us four years ago were still there, serving up the same delicious fare with a smile.

I thought about complaining but in Thailand if a farang complains the Thai will usually smile and do nothing. There are plenty of other food places close by that sell the same food for half the price. English and Thai version menu is available with photos that could be easier to order, and the waiter could speak English. Because it locates opposite to the ancient fortress so I could eat and easily go to that site, museum, and other places.
