Savory Malatang小食记 (Empire Tower) — Restaurant in Yan Nawa Subdistrict

Oh my God so I’ve been here so many times and I absolutely love this place I don’t know how I did not do it review because I come there to have their soup all the time at the Empire Tower located on the lower floor!

Today I was feeling a little bit peckish and I decided to order a Chinese crate which I’ve had before I love the way it’s wrapped in that rice paper casing but there’s a crunchy wafer inside it along with lettuce and a little deliciousness I would highly recommend to order this even if it’s for Takeaway and I love the way it’s coated with black sesame seed on the outside!

Highly recommend to go here if you’re having lunch earlier in this area it’s a great place to go !

I like the concept a lot, but they have three limitations they have to fix. First, you do not know the ingredients of broth, so for example if you do not eat pork or beef, you have no way to know if the broth contains any of this. Second, the broth is extremely salty, so I can never finish it. Tom Yum broth is in inedible due to high salt and sugar content. Third, soy ingredients are of low quality. When they newly opened. It weren’t much spicy. Later on they improved to be better. Soup is more intense and much spicy now.

Red mala is very hot and spicy White mala is less spicy

How to order Go to the food chiller Take what ever you want in the provided basket Go to cashier to weigh your foods Select soup type (red / white) They will pass your basket to cook in the kitchen Wait for 3-5 mins Your mala soup is ready!
