La Bonne Bouffe — Restaurant in Tunis

If you want a very simple and tasty local food experience, this is it. Google reviews led us here, and were glad we visited. La Bonne Bouffe is very much a hole in the wall, with three high tables looking out over a small square. The owner preps the fresh ingredients at home, and finishes them at the restaurant. Clients are asked their spiciness preference. Our nicely presented Shakshouka (the only dish available) arrived quickly, and was accompanied by a basket of baguette and a bottle of water he purchased from the adjacent kiosk.
