Alright, let’s start with the good stuff.

✅ The menu is huge—so many options, you might need a game plan. Prices? Pretty fair, especially compared to some places nearby that charge more for food that’s not even as good. But here’s a little mystery: they only bring two menus for four people. Why? Do they want us to bond over menu-sharing? No idea. Also, the big menus don’t have prices, so you either get a folded paper with the price list (if it’s on your table) and scan the QR code on it. Not a huge deal, just kinda weird.

✅ Food? Decent! I had the mini burgers—they were alright. My friends tried the kumpir, breakfast, and beef, and it was all kinda the same level: good but not amazing. The salad, though? So dry. Just… no. Btw this place is known to have delicious desert and börek but I haven’t tried.

✅ Service? Honestly, pretty fast considering how packed it was. The waiters work hard, but the place is huge, so sometimes it’s a game of “where’s my server?” (and they’re probably thinking the same about you).

✅ Location? Super central, easy to get to. There’s a parking lot next to it, but “lot” is a generous word—it’s more like a patch of dirt and rocks that may or may not have space when you arrive.

Now, why I’m not coming back.

🚭 The smoking situation is ridiculous. The whole balcony area (which is like 75% of the place) is a smoking section, but it’s fully enclosed. Windows closed, ceiling closed—you’re just sitting there, slowly becoming one with the cigarette smoke. I have no idea if this is even legal, but they don’t have ashtrays, just little paper cups. It got slightly better when they opened some windows, but by then, the damage was done. I left smelling like I’d been chain-smoking at a gas station.

I went during lunch break, so I’m guessing it’s the same during other busy hours. Maybe it’s better early in the morning? But honestly? Not gonna risk it.

I've been coming to you, to your Çukurambar restaurant (if that) for many years, and everytime i come i ge tmore and more dissapoitment. You can't even make a cake right and correctly. I ordered a crossaint, it was heated in a microwave, I know you guys have everything frozen but for the love of god, make some effort. Çocuğumuzun pastalarını doğduğundan bu yana her doğum gününde 2 tane olacak şekilde pasta siparişini verdiğimiz yer fakat bu sene bizi hayal kırıklığına uğrattı. 25 ocak ve 29 ocak için aynı pastadan 2 kere yapılması hususunda pasta görselinden teslimatın yapılacağı yere kadar her şeyi a'dan z'ye yazarak 9 ocak tarihinde whatsapp üzerinden sipariş oluşturdum. 25 ocaktaki pasta için 23 ocakta hatırlatma mesajı attım mesajıma dönüş olmadı. 24 ocak akşamına kadar bekledim kendilerinden dönüş olur diye maalesef olmadı. aradığımda ortada ne pastanın siparişi geçilmiş ne pasta hazır. Hatalarını kabul etmek yerine bir de özel pastalar 2'den önce teslim edilemez diye savunmaları teslimatı akşam 4-5 gibi yapsak nasıl olur diye teklifte bulunmalar, ertesi günü saat 2 diye ayarlamışım her şeyi bana böyle bir teklifle gelmeleri!!!, yoğunuz Ankara bize akıyor ablacım tarzında üslupla konuşmaları gerçekten ne kadar profesyonel olduklarını gösteriyor!!!! 25 ocaktaki pastayı benim tepkim sonrası dediğim saate hazırladılar. sıra 29 ocak için yapılacak olan pastaya geldiğinde görsel istedim. atılan görselleri ekte görebilirsiniz. pastanın ağız kısmı düşmüş halde bana görsel atıyorlar. insan bu görseli atmaya utanır müşterisine ya ayıp gerçekten gözünüz görmedi mi hiç.?!!!! dedim ağız kısmını düzeltip görsel atın. whatsappta yazdığımı gördükleri halde tabi görsel gönderen olmadı. pasta okula gittikten sonra okuldan istediğim görselde bir de ne göreyim. pastanın kaş kısmı erimiş akmış. Çukurambar Liva ile iletişime geçtiğimde pastanın cinsi için konuşmaya başladılar. sadece ağızlarında haklısınız efendim demeleriyle ve güya %20 indirim uygulamalarıyla kaldılar. anlamadığım 25 ocaktaki ve 29 ocaktaki herşeyiyle aynı pasta olmasına rağmen biri saatlerce masada kaldı hiçbir akma yaşamamışken diğerinin akması normal mi? Çocuğun hayalindeki legolu pastayı gerçekten çok güzel yaptınız emeği geçenleri ayakta alkışlıyorum!!!! Bu işi yapamıyorsanız bırakın işin ehli insanlar yapsın bu işi.
