Cafe Zone — Restaurant in Şişli

We went there as a group of friends because two of them had been in the café about a year ago and loved it. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was very good. The mezes were fantastic, too. But unfortunately, even though the original Aperol Spritz is advertised, we were served Campari Spritz. Instead of feta, ezine cheese was served, and instead on gorgonzola sauce gnocchi arrived with tomato sauce without warning. Risotto wasn’t the best either. The fish was cooked perfectly—crispy skin on the outside, moist and flaky inside. It was seasoned just right, allowing the natural flavor of the salmon to shine through without being overpowering.

The dish was served with a side of roasted vegetables and a light lemon-butter sauce that complemented the salmon beautifully. The portion was generous, and the presentation was elegant and appetizing.

To be fair the food was excellent and there was a wide variety. After finishing our meals we talked about coming back and trying other dishes on the menu. Then when we got the bill we figured out they added an additional 100tl for 2 services. It was such a disappointment because we live in Istanbul and we wanted to come back but unfortunately some restaurants scam tourists or people who don't speak the language. We just didn't expect this from a relatively fancy place. And reading the reviews I see we weren't the first ones....
