I came for dinner last night and had a very uncomfortable experience with the wait staff.

I am woman and was having dinner alone. Throughout the service the waiter was very nice and friendly however after I paid he asked me to give him my instagram which I thought was uncomfortable, but I didn’t want to be rude and thought it would be easier to just give it to him.

He then proceeded to ask if I had a boyfriend and if I wanted to go for a drink with him, which I politely declined.

HOWEVER, as I was leaving the restaurant, I felt very strange as I didn’t see him on the floor anymore and as I turned around I saw him following me and coming towards me, no longer in his work clothes. As he caught up with me I panicked and told him to please leave me alone which thankfully he did, but as a woman travelling alone in a foreign country, this experience left me feeling very unsafe.

I think asking customers out is DEEPLY unprofessional to begin with but not taking no for an answer and following someone out is predatory behaviour and definitely not acceptable.

I am shocked, as I really would expect a restaurant with such a good reputation to brief their employees on what is appropriate and what isn’t, although quite frankly it should be common sense.

For obvious reasons, I will not be coming back and cannot recommend...

The food at this restaurant was really good, but unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing.

We encountered issues with the waitstaff that left us feeling scammed. Our bill was originally 2500 Turkish Liras, but one of the waiters attempted to overcharge us by implying it was 3500 Liras.

We went on to pay the amount as per the bill (rather than what the waiter asked for) using cash and asked to get our change twice, which he clearly ignored and was very quick to wish us well and goodbye, walking away with our money and leaving us in an awkward position. It was clear he was trying to pocket extra money dishonestly.

What upset us the most was his dismissive attitude. Instead of acknowledging our ask, he simply ignored us (playing the language barrier card even though he had a good conversation with us earlier) and walked away, leaving us feeling deceived and disrespected as customers.

This experience completely soured what could have been an enjoyable meal.

I urge the management of this establishment to investigate such incidents and ensure that such behaviour is not tolerated among their staff. As it stands, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant, and I personally will not...
