I hate to post negatively about a vegan restaurant given there is such few options in any city but this isn't okay.
I visited this restaurant with my family a few days ago. We were a table of four and when we first got there, we didn't realize how small the restaurant was but the hosts quickly rearranged some tables to allow us to sit. It was impressive and super nice of them. Things were going well. The menu was focused and we were able to place our ordor for a few dish's and drinks. We were hopefully since the menu was focused that the food would be amazing.
We had ordered Pad Thai with tofu, yellow curry, and my mother in law ordered some spring rolls and samosas. I forget the other dish.
Three of the four dishes showed up, my dish was missing the tofu and my mother in law's dish didn't show up. The food itself was quiet basic for being Asian flavoured. The yellow curry was watery and not thick. The pad Thai was not as flavored as I'd expect.
Don't get me wrong it's great to have options that are vegan in the city but I wouldn't call this authentic Thai or Indian food.
Shortly after delivering the three plates, the worker went out for a smoke break and didn't return for 15 mins. When she returned, we told her..we are missing a dish, she said, let me go check. She returned to say 5 more mins, but clearly from the kitchen panic the order was never placed and she was trying to lie. After almost twenty mins of waiting and another followup we got the samosa but they were not good. The waiter attempted to lie and say the fryer broke and she was letting us know it was going to take five more mins but if we didn't tell her she wouldnt have even remembered. She did give us the samosas for free but still wasn't worth the adventure.
Overall it ruined one of the few nights we had in Istanbul. I wouldn't go back from this experience.
For the mgmt team: I would suggest the waiting staff, serve the food and take the one min to ask thier guests if all food Is delivered before they go out for a smoke break. That simple check in would have solved the whole issue but this is not a normal practice in any of the Turkish restaurant I've...
Read moreVegetarians and Vegans Alert! This place has NO competition in the veg food market in Istanbul! It's hands down the best! I am an Indian and used to eating the best of food with the right amount of spices and salt.
I am a pure vegetarian/eggetarian and cannot even tolerate veg food that carries a non vegetarian smell (because they use the same oil). I tried a lot of restaurants in Istanbul but really struggled to find NON-SMELLY veg food in Istanbul. Asian Vegan Kitchen was God sent. Pure vegetarian food with no smell.
My husband and I came here twice (wish we had come more often!).. had veg fried rice (9/10), veg dumplings (6/10), samosa (9/10) and veg spaghetti (10/10). Photos attached.
Also, the restaurant has such a cute vibe. The owner is super sweet, pampered us with tasty tea that was complementary. There are also cats with as friendly an energy as this place.
Pure vegetarians paradise. You guys have to come here. Okay, getting back to my tasty...

It's adventure to discover places to eat.
So here is what we discovered while we were returning🚶👣🚶 from our blue mousque visit.
Asian Vegan Kitchen, we were not hungry but definitely wanted to try "as #Asian took all my attention"
We ordered #noodles "vegetarian of course as were seated at a vegan restaurant"
The noodles 🍜 was MaShaAllah delicious. The sauce served along was the other favorite of mine.
Abdullah it's you who was kind to open the menu on your phone that definitely made us sit and eat there.
Thank you for letting us know about your other restaurants "Nepal Everest Kitchen and pad Thai"
I look forward to try both.
And a shout out to everyone in Istanbul local and the visitors to try.
