Dishonest Pricing – Tourists Beware!

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. As a tourist, I was charged significantly higher prices than the locals — something I only discovered after speaking with a few local diners. The menu I was given did not match the prices that locals were paying, and there was no transparency or warning about this practice. I literally paid close to 73 dollars for a breakfast I’m 100% sure if I’m a Turkish person would cost me not more than 20-25 dollars.

It felt like I was being taken advantage of simply because I was a visitor. The final bill was shockingly expensive for what I received, and when I questioned it, the staff were evasive and unhelpful.

This kind of dishonest pricing is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the establishment. I urge other travelers to be cautious and ask for prices in advance, or better yet, take your business to a place that treats all...

Excellent place and nothing sort of that!! Food I have rated them as 5* though I barely recollect what I had besides some shots of Turkish Coffees over 2-3 hours or so on a rainy, chillingly cold, winding evening. So I’d like to elaborate on that a bit further, the staff and their service, attitude and approach as well as the Managements service oriented approach is simply what puts them a world apart. I was stuck there due to the rains and the weather as mentioned by my earlier and the staff was nothing shot of courteous though the ticket size of my billing/s was at best meagre. Ambience can been seen from the pictures, they speak for themselves and there were fire places all over the outdoors as-well. Location, once couldn’t ask for a better one, bang on the edge of Taksim square. A must visit if one is at Taksim especially on a wintery...

The food drinks and hospitality were all bang on ! They didn't charge any service tax ...

Ordered veg pizza and chocolate croissant and drinks ...everything was great..just felt my mocktail monsoon lacked flavour ....somewhat....maybe because it was a bit sweeter than I like....

The waiters were constantly on the lookout if we needed anything or a repeat of what we wanted..

English was a slight struggle for them but then they understood well....

We enjoyed lively views of the buzzing taksim square seated outside ....and the weather was generous !!!

We enjoyed a peaceful dinner on the whole ... Highly recommend if you are...
