Lets first start with the interior of the hotel: The hotel is the perfect blend of modern design and high technology, creating a luxurious and stylish atmosphere. From the moment I stepped inside, I was impressed by the fresh, modern atmosphere. Everything looked and felt brand new. This hotel didn’t seem outdated as many hotels in Istanbul are. The rooms were incredibly comfy and cozy, making it easy to relax after a long day of exploring the city.

The staff were extremely helpful from the moment I was booking the rooms over the phone, until the very last minute of checkout. They assisted with my group booking, helped with luggage, and provided great recommendations for local spots to visit and eat. Their excellent English and friendly attitude made the whole experience better and easier. I had an evening flight, so I arrived at this hotel somewhere during the night. But check-in was smooth and efficient thanks to the caring staff.

My stay also included breakfast, which was one of the highlights. The breakfast was a self-service, it had a wide variety of options to suit different diets, much more than the usual bread-and-croissant selection you find in many city hotels.

Now let's talk about its location. Its location is ideal for those who like to explore the city on foot. It’s close to Taksim Square with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and public transport (like Metro Station) is just a short 5-10 minute walk away. There’s so much to do in the area, you definitely won’t be bored!

The only minor downside is the noise from ongoing active constructions in the streets around the hotel, but that’s just part of the Taksim area’s modernization. It didn’t affect my stay too much.

My verdict, Midtown Hotel is the perfect choice for a stay in Istanbul. It gave me a great start to my trip, and I’m sure it will continue to be a fantastic option for anyone visiting the...

I have given a good review a year ago but now I must change it because the stay I had was unbelievable this time!!

1- The bathroom was flooding every time I took a shower that the water reached the room!

2- The room’s door mechanism has stopped working so suddenly and they blamed us for that happening + moved us to another room with zero compensation for the inconvenience.

3- last but not least, the closet’s door literally fell on my sister’s foot and broke her toe, also no apology nor any compensation whatsoever!!

The room service ends at 10 pm, you can’t get anything when you call near that time. The laundry service is only from 8-4 which was a major inconvenience to us.

There are no other services provided by the hotel like spas for example, all you can do in this please is sleep and leave, even that can be a hazard considering the power sockets were buzzing all night whenever we charged our devices. And there is no noise cancellation AT ALL We heard everything that happened in the other rooms on the floor. And there are no trollies to move the bags, the workers were moving them a few by few to the hotel’s door.

The receptionist with the raspy voice whom I couldn’t get her name was my nightmare, she was rude, unhelpful and not one bit professional.

I can’t believe that this is the same place I stayed at a year ago and had a blast, no place I stayed at have sunken so low in the span of a year!!!

I surely hope I won’t ever stay here again.
