FRANKIE — Restaurant in Beyoğlu

Frankly, I didn't know where to start, but based on the comments, I wanted to touch on the issues I agree with.

It is written on the top of the elevators where to go. You won't have any trouble if you look carefully.

The food is very expensive compared to its prices. I can comment on the taste; there are much better restaurants for those prices. If you're willing to spend that money, it's not a place to go just for the view and atmosphere.

I say the toilets are for men; they are naturally very dirty because they are small for such a large and capacity restaurant.

As you will notice, I am giving 4 stars only for the environment. It's a good place if you're coming to have fun and not eat too much.

On a final note, a waiter with a glasses came, and we thought he was the head waiter because he asked us how we liked the food, and we said it was good except the octopus. Because we were disappointed by chewing the octopus like gum. The gentleman said, "it's from us, I'll deduct it from the bill." The bill came, and it was not deducted, and we said the gentleman over there had said it would be deducted. They went and asked him, and he said, "I didn't say anything like that." our bill was 10 times of the octobus price that is why we don't insist on it.

So the bottom line, don't go if you don't want to...

Merhaba Sayın Yetkili, 11.10.2024 tarihin de rezervasyon yaptirmis oldugum frankie galataport subesi hakkında geri bildirimde bulunmak istiyorum. 1 hafta öncesinden detayli bilgi almak ve rezervasyon yaptırmak icin aramis oldugum 0212 401 05 57 numaralı hattan yetkili arkadaslariniz detaylı bilgi vermis olup istedigim masayı ayıracaklarını tarafıma bildirdiler. 7 kisi 2 dogum günü kutlaması, yemek servisi olacagini belirttim. 11.10.2024 tarihin de frankie subesine ulastigimiz da 7 kişi jazz performansını görmeyen girise yakın bir masa rezervasyonu yapılmıstı. Masamıza yerlestikten sonra 3 kez servis görevlilerini cagirmamiza ragmen 30 dakika sonra siparis almak icin geldiler. Öncelikle, kokteyl siparislerimizi akabin de yemek secimlerimizi yaptik. Sahsimin secmis oldugu kokteyl de uzun bir sac cikmis olup, bilgi verilmesi halin de yenisi ile degistirilmistir. Gelen yeni kokteylimde de malesef sac cikmistir. Yasanan bu durum karsisin da masa daki diger misafirlerimizin de tadı kacmistir. Yemek servisi basladigin da, 2 kisinin söylemis oldugu pesto gnocchi buz gibi ve sert pismemis bir sekilde servis edildi. 3 arkadasimizin söylemis oldugu pirzola ise etin %85 i yag oldugu icin yalnizca lokum kısmı tüketilip kalanı israf olmustur. Masa düzeni, kokteyl de sac cikmasi , yemeklerin soguk ve etin yagli servis edilmesi baslangicta yeterince keyfimizi kacirdi. Tüm bu vakalari sef, müdür oldugunu belirten kisilere arz ettik. Lakin, kendileri böyle seylerin olabilecegini acik hava da servis yapildigini söylediler. Fakat kokteyl deki kusur bir yaprak degildi sacti. Ve tabagina 3 kisinin 1.490₺ ödemis oldugu pirzola da et degil etin sinir ve yag dokusu vardi. Bütün aksilikleri, göz ardi edip 8 misafirimin daha fazla keyifsizlik yasamamasi ve 2 arkadasimin en özel gecesi olan dogum günü olmasi sebebi ile masamizin ivedilik ile degistirilmesini sahneye yakın bir masa var ise iceceklerimize orada devam etmek istedigimizin bilgisini verdim. Öncesin de bilakis kendim müsait bir masa oldugunun teyidini kendim gidip görerek calisanlardan onay alarak mütabık kaldım. Yetkili arkadaslarin masamizi degistirmeleri 45 dakika sürdügü icin, jazz performansi bitmisti. Yeni masamiz da iceceklerimize devam ederken,önceden iceriye teslim etmis oldugum 2 adet pastanın gelmesini ve biran önce mekandan ayrılmak istedigimizi söyledik. Fakat pastanin servis edilmesi de 45 dakika sürdü. Malesef, 2 arkadasimin dogum günü icin özenle bir cok mekan arasindan secmis oldugum frankie büyük bir hayal kirikligi yaratti. Bitmeyen bekleyis, kötü servis, kusurlu yemek, yanlis yazilan adisyon, yanlis rez yapilan masa gelmeyen pasta derken gecemiz mahvoldu. Ücretlendirme kısmın da ise, her mekanin kendine ait ücretlendirme politikasi vardir. Fakat, 7 kisilik bir masa da 1 cam sise su tüketilip 7 sise seklinde giris yapiliyorsa bu ücretlendirme de bir problem var demektir. Tüm calisanlarinizin, telefon hattinda rezervasyon alan giriste karsilayan, masa ile ilgilenen , mutfakta tabaklama yapan , masaya servis acan herkesin denetime tabii tutulması, gerekli tüm aksiyonlarin ivedilik ile alinmasini istirham ediyorum. Overall Frankie was a good experience! The area is very hip and modern which is a nice contrast to the old side of the city. The views are quite blocked off by landscaping and speakers/lights around the edges of the restaurant. The host was quite rude to us since we didn’t have a reservation and refused to give us a good table with a view. He told us he had other reservations coming in which obviously never showed up and he didn’t even offer to move us even though we told him it’s our last night. Service staff overall was quite nice. There was some live music but it was brief and then transitioned to a DJ which is quite nice. We could even see the service staff gossiping and laughing at us which was quite shameful considering we are tourists and all we wanted was a nice table. The food overall was really good, quite expensive for what it is but good quality. Pasta arrived very cold which is sad but we were hungry so ate it anyway. We alerted our waiter about it but he didn’t seem to fix anything. Either way cool place...
