Galata Frida House Cafe Restaurant — Restaurant in Beyoğlu

We visited this place two times. First time was ok (not the best place, but ok). But the second time was absolutely terrible!

The waiter brought us moldy cheese and yesterday's potatoes (we ordered typical breakfast). When we told him about cheese he answered that it’s ok, it’s cheddar cheese (but cheddar cheese is not usually moldy).

We asked him to watch and he answered “oh, really, sorry”. Then he took one piece of the cheese and left. The second piece of moldy cheese left lying on our plate.

We expected him to bring new not moldy cheese but he didn't do anything at all. He just kept working after he took away a piece of cheese. After that, we expected that at least the bill would be discounted (after all, we did not receive normal cheese and potatoes). But we were given the full price. And they even seemed to have added a tip (but I don't remember...

Breakfast plate was the worst we ate during our stay on Turkey. Freezing cold fries, supermarket potato rings, no love put into the garnishment.

Pretty bad overall considering there’s plenty good options in the area.

Edit: This edit is written as an addition as a response to your response. Yes I was there with my girlfriend today. No I wasn’t asked for feedback. No I didn’t take a picture of the Food cause it wasn’t worthy of a picture. The fries were cold and the onion ring looked like you didn’t prepare them. The cheese tasted like nothing. The sauces were okay.

The orange juice had orange seeds inside. The egg sandwich that my girlfriend had were mediocre.

I should give you one star for subtly trying to portray my review as a fake one.

Loved this place but my dish was not the best. The decor is really nice and the staff is very friendly. I went there for dinner and had the beef stew dish. The taste and flavor were okay but the meat was a bit chewy. Probably needed to be booked a little longer and on lower heat. The yogurt plate with apple and garlic was really tasty. For drinks, the cool lime was good and balanced, not too sweet not too bitter. I wish I had time to come back and try their breakfast since most of the good reviews mention their breakfast dishes (perhaps they are better than dinner dishes).
