Sirin Firin Bakery — Restaurant in Beyoğlu

The pistachio cronut was very nice but unfortunately I bit into a pistachio shell. It hurt my tooth but it didn't take away from the over enjoyment of the dessert. I had this with a latte which cost 250tl (around £5) and the cronut itself 430tl (around £9), 680TL in total. This to me is extremely excessive. I got knocked off 80TL because I showed them the hard shell I bit into and the guy didn't argue so that was nice. Overall I would say save this as a once in a visit treat. I'm not saying it's the establishments fault for the excessive prices but I've had just as good deserts off the beaten tourist path here in Istanbul during my 9 day stay for way way less. I think Istanbul is no longer viable for tourists who haven't got time to find those cheap gems.

My review wasn't the service because it was good. The food was good too but pricing only for a desert and coffee that costs 120TL...

It was exceptional and I will return again and again before I leave Istanbul. The service is brilliant, the cuisine (and selection) is outstanding, and the atmosphere is eclectic. I really wanted to try this place as it was recommended by a few people. After seeing the Galata Tower, I went in to have a snack. It was quite busy but I didn't mind as everywhere is busy in Istanbul. So I just stood in the queue. I wanted to order few items, but the lady at the counter didn't speak in English at the beginning. Then when I said I would like to eat-in she just pointed and said you need to order from menu at the table. Didn't seem very friendly. I sat down and then waited couple of minutes, no one came to take the order. So I left but a few shops ahead found a really nice dessert parlour with excellent customer service and good English speaking staff, who smiled and...
