While I am not Jewish, my partner is and the history of Jewish struggle is beautiful and tragic everywhere you go. While Turkey has a history of accepting refugees and people of other faiths, you find they also have a history of violence against the Jewish people. The museum is lovely, it also is very informative about Jewish practices. Its always wonderful to see people overcoming and surviving. Many lovely pieces on loan from a variety of people.
