Kapı Karaköy — Restaurant in Beyoğlu

Randomly search for kebap places on google and came across this place. We dropped by during lunch and surprised that it was empty, there were plenty of seats and the staff was very nice. English speaking was also a bonus.

We could see the chef preparing the food and grilled the meat in front of us. Had some lamb chop and chicken wings and it was really good, though the wings was a little overcooked and one of the lamb chop was a little dry too. Overall it was still nice and quite well priced given the area.

Coming to Kapi was the best decision of the evening: Kapi is a busy, noisy late night place that offers a good selection of alcohol drinks. Their cocktail menu is fairly impressive, and all the cocktails that we tried were top quality! The food was simply AMAZING, we didn't want to leave! They offer vegetarian options as well. The prices are more or less the same as everywhere else in the area. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating!

This is a fantastic place. Great atmosphere with old brick walls and antique pieces on walls and throughout, in a great part of town. All the appetizers were great and fresh.They brought us some complimentary ones and a dish of roasted garlic and onions which was awesome. Kabob was good and the dessert of banana, honey, walnuts and some kind of cream was delicious, well balanced and not too sweet.
