Mado — Restaurant in Beyoğlu

I'm not sure about the reviews from 1-2 months ago. Today everything was smooth, and the quality was very good also. This is the Turkish breakfast menu, which was 136 Turkish lira, but is for two hungry adults.

We ordered 3 different ice cream plates, we waited 15 minutes or more and they brought 5 of the same, all chocolate, but we ordered a até of three different flavours. They are now more expensive and half of the size. I used to bring tourists, friends and family when we come to Karaköy, but I'll never go back there again. The waiter was kind, but the old lady working as cashier was rude and ignored our complaints. If want to try the famous Mado's ice cream, just try another branch.

Nah. I got recommended this place by a local, visited it twice. They don't have menu in English and the pictured don't tell much. Desserts are good, coffee ok, but everything else is average to terrible, at least from what I tried. Like, the caesar salad had chewy thigh meat, 4 full table spoon of mayo, wet salad leaves were drowned in a vinegar-like sauce, chunks of plain dried baguette substituted croutons, it had whatever white cheese... need I go on?
