The atmosphere was lovely to start BUT who really cares when you are dripping wet because the bar staff poured water all over you and followed up with a cursory glance and a “sorry about that” as they handed a bill for a $15 glass of wine. I stopped in to have a drink early eve and it started raining. Without warning the staff let the water off the fabric awning and it went all over me and through my bag. They didn’t offer to help in anyway though I was saturated, freezing and the contents of my bag ruined. The only redeeming factor was the the front desk man gave me his own umbrella to get home as the hotel wouldn’t lend me one. The only reason I would return is the give back the umbrella… otherwise choose a bar with more friendly service, there’s so many of them within 50m...

Hadn’t find the time to praise Simone’s high-hand cuisine and service, which I visited several times on a long weekend in Istanbul.

Me and my girlfriend were staying at the hotel at the 3rd floor. So, we had the chance to go up for most of our lunches and dinners and, therefore, had the chance to taste almost the whole list: not a single disappointment. Deserts and breakfasts included.

In addition to that, you might enjoy among the best views in the city. The wine list is excellent (Turkish wines only, highly recommend) and so is the cocktail list. I rarely write reviews but this one was necessary as I could not even find a single default to the place.
