Confident five stars. Soho House is a haven in the hustle and bustle of pera and istiklal. Th area gets super busy during the weekend so it was great to have many dining and entertainment options within the hotel (especially when you don’t want to get stuck in Istanbul traffic on a Saturday night). So, 10/10 on location especially for your first time in Istanbul. Close to the Sishane metro station & the funeklar to take you to Karakoy and from there to Sultan Ahmet et al. Ok let’s talk rooms. It’s pricey but the room has pretty much everything you might need. Medium room is quite large and comfy, especially those on the higher floors. I will say that the hotel aesthetic reminded me of Get Out so the design sometimes errs on the side of spooky. But v v v cool nonetheless. Food: Amazing. Don’t ignore the chocolate chip cookies in your room. Now, to the crowning jewel of the hotel: Naavah. As an Arab who has had some of the best Lebanese food in Beirut, Naavah presented us with one of the most important Lebanese/Arab eating experiences we’ve had. The food is brilliantly made, the attention to detail is incredible, the ingredients are superb and the quantities are generous. The flavors are just so, creative and in a way that makes perfect sense. Do not skip Naavah. Come with an empty stomach and sample as many things as you can. Finally, the Soho House team. Patient, resourceful, and very friendly. They helped us book dinners, book our PCR tests, and made our stay truly comfortable and enjoyable. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you for a great stay. Hammam at the Spa was nice but the marble beds can get too hot. Breakfast is aiite. Don’t skip the brownie.

Not really worth the price for what you get. It’s a very hyped-up and glamorous place, but the service doesn’t quite match the image. The building itself is stunning – the lobby, rooms, and gym are beautifully designed. However, there were some disappointing details. Upon arrival, no one helped us with luggage (although they did assist when checking out). Our room (#50) was very noisy on Saturday night with music playing until 3 AM. The air conditioning was uncomfortable – it blew directly onto the bed, and if turned off the room became too hot. Some amenities also felt below standard: the kettle was in very poor condition, and the bathroom door actually fell off and had to be fixed. The sink was very small, with no space for personal items – perhaps a small side table could help. Laundry service also failed: I left clothes in the provided bag with a note, but nothing was cleaned, which was surprising. Another thing to note is their photography policy – guests are not informed upon check-in that photos are not allowed. If this is important to the hotel, it should be mentioned clearly. At the same time, the atmosphere didn’t feel private in the evenings, with large groups of people walking through the property for events or the restaurant. We also visited the lobby café, where the service felt a little unfriendly and distant. Overall, the design and ambiance are impressive, but the service and attention to detail leave room for improvement. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return.

I had high expectations but was disappointed. Booked for 3 days , checked out the 2nd. The only reason I’m giving it a 1 and not a 0 is because of location. pros -location. -Staff was nice. -hotel exterior is nice, lobby is a vibe, great decor cons -room corridors were literally so dark I had to activate night vision. I understand it’s supposed to be artsy and romantic but there’s a difference between dim and barley any light. -Room is NOT clean. I informed the reception and they were kind enough to reassure me that it will be cleaned like I asked. Went back to the room and it was still NOT clean. -bathroom water stains -toilet seat and cap water stains (the seat just needs an upgrade looks like it’s been repeatedly scratched so stuff is leaking in) -shower head had green mold and black stuff collected around -dust on all lamps (after I told the reception to specifically clean dust from lamps) -sheets had minor stains (even if they were washed you cannot present with stained sheets)!!I basically pulled off all the sheets and went downstairs to make sure the sheets were changed. Came back to the room and found the same stain. Sheets were not changed. Look, if I was paying for a flimsy hotel I would keep my mouth shut. The price of soho house is not flimsy so the hotel should be top quality. You pay more you get BETTER. This was not better.

The hotel is beautiful and the house is in an old historic house which is incredible. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The spa was great, especially the Neville part (Men's grooming), I had an exceptional service for a hair trim (clean up). That's where the charm ends. All of the photos online show that the Hotel AND the member's house have a pool on the rooftop. Neither of them do as they were both closed over a year ago. There are still buttons in the elevator which say rooftop terrace/pool, which is inaccessible. One of the reasons we booked this hotel is because we were hoping to enjoy the summer sun by the pool on vacation. No such luck. The rooms are defaulted to an extremely dark light setting. There are no instructions on how to brighten the room so it took us till the second day before we realized you have to press and hold the light switch button twice to get the lights to actually work. The AC setting was on 15 C for 3 days straight and the room won't get below 21 C. The glass doors to the showers and the toilets do not fully close and they swing open when in use (we got moved to a different room during our stay and it was the same in both). The restaurant staff in the hotel (Allis Restaurant) are abysmal as service is slow and unattentive. I am writing this review after sitting down for breakfast - nobody else was in the restaurant and there are 4 servers working. I sat for 30 minutes with nobody coming to check on me after receiving a breakfast menu, not even to ask if I wanted to drink. Another guest came in, sat down at the table across from mine, ordered breakfast, and had it delivered to her, all before I was even able to flag down a server. Ordered soft boiled (dipping) eggs and toast and they came as hard boiled eggs. Sent them back and the next ones came practically raw. It seems they don't know how to cook an egg (indicative of a bigger issue perhaps). It's really the only breakfast option unless you're a member of the Soho House club. Cecconi's (Italian restaurant in the courtyard) was good, Mandolin (member's house roof terrace Mediterranean restaurant) was a great atmosphere and good food. Don't do yourself the injustice of dining at 'The Allis' until they get things figured out. Also the daily 'buffet' is actually just window shopping for food because you can't order anything from your table - you have to walk over to the 'buffet' but you're not allowed to help yourself. You have to (while they hover over you waiting) decide what you want and tell them, then they will plate it for you and bring it to you. Strange. Honestly, the only reason I am not leaving only 1 star is because I am a member of Soho House and I feel like it's a reflection on the whole organization, which is unfair. It's really just some issues they need to work out. This place has been open about 3 years now? You...

Soho House Istanbul, you absolute beauty.

I got in through two amazing friends (you know who you are Avengelina and Multan, I owe you big time 🍸) and wow… they did NOT oversell it. From the second I walked through those massive doors into what looks like a mini palace, I knew I was in for something special.

First off the building? Straight out of a movie. It’s got that “old money meets cool artist” vibe. High ceilings, vintage furniture, a record player in the room (yes, I actually played vinyl like it was 1978), and a bed so comfortable btw xD considered quitting my job to live there full time.

Remember dont need but also need of the referral

The members-only spaces are just chef’s kiss. The Club Bar is great for people-watching (everyone looks like they’re either in a band or launching a startup), and the garden area is like a Pinterest board brought to life. Very aesthetic. Very chill. 10/10 vibes.

Let’s talk about the food: Cecconi’s. That’s it. That’s the review. I ate pasta like I had just run a marathon. Under fairy lights. Surrounded by beautiful people. It was a moment.

Also tried the Cowshed Spa, and I swear I left with a new spine. The massage? Heavenly. The gym? Somehow made working out feel luxurious, which I didn’t think was possible.

The staff are ridiculously nice not in a fake hotel way, but like genuinely cool people who seem to enjoy what they do. Shoutout to the concierge for recommending a little hidden meyhane I would’ve never found on Google Maps.

Overall, Soho House Istanbul is not just a hotel. It’s a whole mood. If you can get in (and having good friends helps 👀), do it. Go. Live your best life. Just don’t blame me when you start wondering if you should move to Istanbul and write...
