The Ottoman Bazaar – Turkish Delight & Tea Shop — Restaurant in Beyoğlu

Our recent visit to the Ottoman Bazaar on Sunday, May 18, 2025 and Tuesday, May 20, 2025 refers. It was a most exhilarating experience being in the shop and viewing the delicacies on offer. We purchased packs of baklava, which we thoroughly enjoyed, and we pinned our South African currency to their wall of world currencies.

I recommend to any visitor, visiting Istanbul, to pay a visit to this shop which lies off of Istiklal Street. Even if one does not purchase any item on offer, the kind, caring attitude of the owners is certainly endearing and worth the effort; visit, and it will be an experience etched in your memory.

We certainly have wonderful memories of the Ottoman Bazaar and it's owners. May their business prosper and grow from strength-to-strength.

I had such a wonderful experience at Ottoman Bazaar! The variety of Turkish delights here is simply amazing - I picked up lotus, and pistachio delights, and each one was incredibly fresh, rich, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality in every bite.

The shop itself is beautifully arranged, making it easy to explore all the different sweets, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, offering samples and helping me choose the best ones to take home. I ended up buying quite a lot because they were just too good to resist!

The Ottoman Bazaar is the best place to buy Turkish delight and all kinds of sweets! 👍Also, you can buy different types of tea and coffee here. The staff is very friendly. My daughter got a sweet gift. The child was happy. 😊 In addition, they offer to try their entire assortment.
