Stopped by due to great reviews but while the place is beautiful and a lovely spot to sit and drink something, the coffee was very disappointing—certainly not specialty quality (staff did not even know how to steam milk properly). I tried an oat latte and a supposedly dark chocolate mocha. The oat milk they use was terrible—overpowering flavor that did not work well in coffee. The coffee underneath was mediocre at best. The mocha was made with a cloyingly sweet chocolate syrup (and way too much of it) so it just tasted of sugar but no coffee or cacao notes to be found. Service was fast and friendly and sitting by the window watching people walk by was lovely. World House Coffee and co , is a beautiful gem located in the center of Galata. Rooms decor are FABULOUS. But the real diamond of this place is the staff. Ismail, Mourat, Erdinç and Eren are friendly, knowledgeable and go beyond to help. In our arrival they took the time to set us up with a map, indicating how to get to all the must see locations . They also provide us with metro card that we used through the city, either by boat or tram. I HIGHLY recommend this place if you want to fully enjoy the European side of Istanbul!!! World House Coffee Co. is such a gem! This cafe is not only incredibly cute and aesthetic, but it also has an inviting vibe that makes you want to stay for hours. I tried their apple pie, and it was exactly how I’d hoped—absolutely delicious! The flavor was spot on, with the perfect balance of sweetness and spice, making it so, so, so tasty. And the coffee? Amazing! It had a rich, bold flavor that paired perfectly with the pie.
