Expertly prepared espresso that's not as sour as the stuff you often get in your normal third wave hipster espresso bar (still no dark roasts unfortunately). You still get the nice interior design though that stands out in Balat. Also, truly excellent food! We had the breakfast for two for brunch and it was even better than at one of the highly recommended places in central Istanbul. Prices seem somewhat higher than average in the area but still low from a European perspective. Quality is out of proportion. A must-visit for anybody into coffee...

We stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning around 10 am. Atmosphere was very relaxed and the service was attentive. Aside from the neighbour driving his vintage cars in reverse while they loudly beeped in alarm, it was otherwise a very quiet and calm environment.

Food was tasty, the mushroom forest breakfast was especially tasty. Smoothie bowls are also a rare find for breakfast and were great as well.
