We were stopped by its friendly guy when strolling past the restaurant at dinner time and decided to accept his invitation after browsing the menu and his luring by showing us the 4.8 Google reviews. There's a bit of confusion with "chicken beef steak" on the menu, but the staff claimed there's "beef" in the dish. In the end, it was only chicken breast, which was a bit dried during cooking. The foods in general were okay, but what's causing bitterness was the 10% surcharge that wasn't stated or told anywhere prior, and the bread wasn't anything anyhow we had ordered. We initially thought it was part of the coban salata we ordered. We came a long way from New Zealand 🇳🇿. Both of these are actually illegal there, and businesses doing this would have no room to exist. In the end, I still happily paid 10% surcharge on top of 2330 lira, as it's not worth haggling for this chump money, which would ruin my holiday mood. All I can say is the guy out the front was spruiking and acting a little sleezy for me. He said he was the owner! Being a single older woman didn’t need the unnecessary touching. Once you were in the restaurant they really didn’t care too much. He made such an effort out the front about the freshness of the fish and then didn’t care about asking how it was. Attitude of staff makes the world of difference when eating out. However the fish was as fresh as he said it would be and was cooked to perfection. While the food was good, the service wasn't. It took a while to serve and we didn't get any appetizers or the tea at the end. The service fee was also hidden and we were charged a efty amount at the end.

The owner/host was super friendly at luring you into the restaurant and presenting the menu but after that he really didn't care about us anymore, which did not happen in other restaurants in the area.

The prices were also much more expensive than those in the area. After beeing in other restaurants, usually the ones with higher prices do not have a service...
