I recently visited Hafiz Mustafa and tried their baklava, as well as their pistachio trilece. While I found the baklava to be too sweet, the pistachio trilece was absolutely delicious. The layers of cake were moist and creamy, and the pistachio flavor was prominent without being overpowering. It was a perfect balance of sweetness and nuttiness. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I also appreciated the variety of desserts available and the reasonable prices for the quality and quantity of the sweets. However, the sweetness of the baklava still stands out as a negative point for me, and it is something to keep in mind for those with a lower tolerance for sweetness. Additionally, I recommend making a reservation, as the place can get crowded during peak hours. Overall, I would highly recommend trying the pistachio trilece at Hafiz Mustafa for a delicious dessert experience. It was certainly the highlight of my visit.

Baklava is excellent. I have two complaints. The first complaint is that they do not speak English and their shop is located in Istanbul. I stood in line for 15 minutes because they couldn't serve me, because they didn't speak English. I felt like they were avoiding serving me. Another complaint is that they have not removed the price from the box. I took the baklava as a gift, asked them to pack it, which they kindly did. When the packing was done and the bill was paid, I asked if they had removed the price from the box, the employee and manager first looked at me weird and then said that they had removed the price.The whole situation was strange to me, so when I came to the hotel I unpacked the baklava and saw that the price was on the box. It's honestly not right that they said they took the price off the box when they did not do so. Fortunately, I checked and took it off. Imagine the price left on the gift. I think they should tell the truth next time.

Προσωπικά δεν ξετρελάθηκα με τον μπακλαβά.Ηταν πολύ κατώτερος και αδιάφορος από αυτό που περίμενα για τον πασίγνωστο τούρκικο μπακλαβά όπως επίσης και το κιουνεφέ. Ή απλά ισως έπρεπε να επιλέξω άλλο κατάστημα.Είχα πολύ μεγάλες προσδοκίες για τα δύο πιο γνωστά και πιο δημοφιλή γλυκά της πόλης και το συγκεκριμένου ζαχαροπλαστείου που φημίζεται ως ένα από τα καλύτερα της πόλης. Το κιουνεφέ δεν είχε πολύ σιρόπι και ήρθε με ένα ποτηράκι που θα το πρόσθετα εγώ αλλά και πάλι δεν ήτανε τόσο σιροπιασμένο και γλυκό και κρατσανιστό όπως θα το ήθελα. Το κουνεφέ θα πρέπει να βράζεις το πιάτο του και να έρχεται καυτό μπροστά σου και όχι στεγνό και κρύο. ο μπακλαβάς είχε ελάχιστο σιρόπι σε σημείο που δεν το καταλάβαινες και ήτανε στεγνός και άγευστος με έντονα τα χοντρά και μεγάλα κομμάτια του φυστικιού και το φύλο τραγανό αλλά όχι τόσο μοσχομυριστό όπως θα το ήθελα. Παραγγείλαμε 6 γλυκά και από όλα πραγματικά το μόνο που μου άρεσε ήτανε τα μουχαλεμπί βατόμουρο και συκο. πολύ δροσερά, πολύ ανάλαφρη και πλούσια γεύση πολύ χορταστικά και νόστιμα θα τα επιλέξω και θα τα αναζητήσω την επόμενη φορά που θα ξαναέρθω αλλά ο μπακλαβάς τους και το κιουνεφε φέτος όπως και τα υπόλοιπα γλυκά που πήρα πέρα από το οτι ήταν πολύ ακριβά για την ποσότητα τους η γεύση τους ήταν για μένα πολύ μέτρια. Καθίσαμε σε ένα τραπέζι που βλέπαμε απλά το δρόμο και τίποτε άλλο απο θέα και ο χώρος στον επάνω όροφο που βρισκόμασταν ήτανε πολύ χαμηλοτάβανος και αποπνηκτικός. Τέλος είχαμε έναν σερβιτόρο που μάλλον δεν ξέρει να κάνει τη δουλειά του διότι ενώ πήραμε παραγγελία μάλλον δεν την έκανε καλά ή δεν καταλάβαινε τι του λέγαμε και μας έστειλε μία κοπέλα για να συνεννοηθούμε στα αγγλικά και όταν ήρθε η ώρα να πληρώσουμε τις 1185 λίρες του έδωσα 1205 για να πάρω στρογγυλοποιημένα ρέστα και αυτός νόμισε ότι τα έδωσα για tips και τα κράτησε και εγώ περίμενα να μου δώσει τα ρέστα μου μέχρι να αναγκαστώ να φωνάξω ένα σερβιτόρο να ρωτήσω τι γίνεται και να μου εξηγήσουν ότι ο σερβιτόρος που πήρε την παραγγελία και τα χρήματα δεν κατάλαβε καλά και να τσακώνονται μπροστά μου ώστε να μου γυρίσουνε πίσω τις 20 λίρες που είχα ρέστα. αν ήξερα ότι ήταν τόσο μικρό το ποσό θα του της χάριζα.

The staff are friendly and the place is not dirty. I ate the strawberry chocolate cake for 59 Turkish liras. The portion of the cake is huge, we coudnt finish the cake with 2 people. The price is worth the size and it also tastes good but it is extremely heavy. So much chocolate and heavy cream, I was so full I couldn't swallow the cake, also there were just a few fruit pieces which makes the cake even more heavy and dry. The desserts are mediocre. It's not the best place to have something sweet but its worth a try if you like heavy stuff. Photos are included in the review. Çok ağır bir keki var tadı fena degil. Ortalama bir yer, çalışanlar kibar.

Our favourite branch of Hafiz Mustafa. Kind, helpful and smiley personal. Theur sweets are coming every morning, fresh and delicious. We tried many places for baklava, but this one became our favourite - baklava has taste, it's not oversweet, good choice. They have Turkish delight as well, baking Kunefe as well. Kunefe is incredible. For breakfast they offer borek and some pies with meat. (Don't know the name of it) When we had to leave Turkey they packed for us sweets with love ot metallic boxes to not loose the shape and vacuumated it ❤️

I write in English for tourists. The baklavas are delicious, we tried the divan and palace plates, one with walnuts and the other with pistachios. If you are going to try baklava, you can choose this place. In my opinion, the first tea with baklava should not be charged, the reason why I deducted 1 point is that I find lemonade too intense in taste and it does not combine well with the dessert next to it. The price is reasonable, I paid 817 TL for what you see in the photo.
