One person. Soup, Entree, 2 Beers, and a Hookah = more then $60 or 60 Euros with tip! It was a Saturday night and didn’t really care about price but damn most expansive place I been to. 3/4 hour boat/cruise with dinner and a show was cheaper but hey, to teach your own. Kinda crazy when I went because the power for the full restaurant shut off for close to twenty minutes. At first the candle light was nice, but not the constant smartphone flashlights in the corner of my eye constantly. Nice staff, soup alright. Iskander is small portion. Beer tasted and smelled good/clean. Hookah was very nice too, I was scared of getting sick or respiratory problems but here I am days later writing this review lol. Reviews don’t seem fake as they encourage and give you there business card upon leave to write a google and TripAdvisor review for them. Edit: I feel bad saying this if it wasn’t this resurtant, but I believe that may have charge a “tax” which is very controversial and many locals frown upon that behavior.

I know that the restaurant has very good reviews and this is the reason for which we went to eat here. Because we arrived at around 10 pm, our experience here was not great however, in comparison to other turkish restaurants. The food was ok but we ate better at almost all the other restaurants at which we went. After we finished our main meals, one of my friend ordered kunefe, we waited around 25 minutes (we know that it takes 15-20 min for the kunefe to be done), and when we asked about the status, the waiters said that he forgot to pass the order to the kitchen. It as already almost 12 so we decided to not wait anymore and leave . The waiter was nice and he apologised and we got Tea and baklava frok the house. The overall experience was not bad, but taking the prices in cobsideration and the experiences which we had on the other restaurants in our one week stay, i can only offer 3 stars.

Good food, good service, good atmosphere. This was our first meal in Turkey and it was great. We ordered 2 dishes for the 3 of us because we weren't very hungry. Manti: 4.5/5 Yoghurt-chilli oil-sauced turkish ravioli. It was really good and the meat inside each raviolo was plenty and well seasoned. Iskender kebap: 4/5 The meat was soft, but was cut a little too thinly for my liking. It was still delicious though, the seasonings and sauce were really good. However the white cream didn't add much to the dish in my opinion. They give complimentary bread (the huge hollow balloon kind, kind of tasteless IMO), which is apparently standard among Turkish restaurants. They also gave us Turkish tea and baklava to end our meal. Portions were quite BIG (almost comparable to North American portions), and prices were not very cheap.

Looking for a place for lunch, we found this place which is not directly on the main super-crowded street (with trams and millions of pedestrians) but remaining very close to Sultanamet district. Th pleasure is finding the photographic menu and having children this was very helpful. We chose only Turkish food (kebab in the pot, Pide, steak and fish salad) and everything was super well prepared. The entity of seafood in the seafood salad was a little poor. Waiters and personnel very kind. I suggest the freshly squeezed juices. The price is a little bit high compared to all other places we found during our stay in Istanbul, but I would advise this place at least compared to the others in the area (which I also tried in previous stays )

It was my last day in Istanbul and we went to this place for dinner and had great time. The whole street is filled with restaurants and everyone wants to pull you in so was difficult to choose, fortunately we chose this and loved it. The food, the place, the atmosphere is just perfect and have amazing vibes. We ordered shrimps in butter which turned out to be one of the best shrimps i have had. We ordered the famous Pottery kebab which was both a joy to see and eat. For dessert we choose baklava which was okish and for drinks we had cosmopolitan and some beer. Cosmopolitan was a bit on lighter side. The overall experience and the service was perfect and the staff were pretty friendly. A good place with good music and food

Food was mediocre, there are plenty better restaurants regarding the food. Literary this tortelini were tasteless, like they were bought from store, NOT homemade for sure. At entrance, guy gave us same offer as all other restaurants (free starter and coffee which was bad) but charged 10% tax and no one else charged us that and he didnt told us that. Unfortunately that was our first day in Istanbul and we were fooled, if we visited previously some restaurants, for sure we wouldnt go inside this restaurant. Honestly there are plenty better restaurants with better food. More expensive then other restaurants also. Try to avoid it.
