Listen to my advice and do not be tempted by the existing pictures and reviews. I offered them one of the services and saw the food in the kitchen and during its preparation there are no minimum standards of hygiene, they work without conscience in light of the current pandemic, the kitchen is dirty and cleaned with dirty tools, workers in the kitchen are not committed to the procedures related to the current pandemic !! I saw a small insect in the flour that is used to make bread and pizza. The hall is full of flies and there are beggars and children selling stuff freely enter the restaurant. The food is unclean, dirty, and dirty hands touch all your dishes, even the dishes are washed by hand without using a dishwasher !! While pouring food, some dirty dishes arrive and they wipe it with a dirty rag for speed! Some workers smoke cigarettes while preparing or cooking your dishes, I advise you to never visit. I will not talk about sweets either because I cannot talk here ... I hope that the municipality here monitors the activities of these restaurants! I can't post any photos because they could know who's writing this..

اسمعوا نصيحتي ولا تغريكم الصور و التقييمات الموجودة، قدمت لهم احدى الخدمات ورأيت الطعام بالمطبخ واثناء تحضيره لايوجد أدنى معايير نظافة، يعملون دون ضمير في ظل الجائحة الحالية، المطبخ متسخ ويتم تنظيفه بأدوات متسخة، العمال في المطبخ غير ملتزمين بالاجراءات المتعلقة بالجائحة الحالية!! رأيت حشرة صغيرة في الطحين الذي يستخدم لصنع الخبز والبيتزا. الصالة مليئة بالذباب وهناك شحاذون واطفال يبيعون يدخلون للمطعم بكل حرية. الطعام غير نظيف غير نظيف والايادي المتسخة تلمس اطباقك جميعها، حتى الاطباق تغسل يدويا دون استخدام جلاية!! واثناء سكب الطعام تصل بعض الاطباق المتسخة فيقومون بمسحها ب خرقة غير نظيفة من اجل السرعة! بعض العمال يدخنون السجائر اثناء تحضير او طهي اطباقكم انصحكم بعدم الزيارة ابدا ابدا. لن اتكلم عن الحلويات ايضا لانه لا يسعني الحديث هنا ... اتمنى ان تقوم البلدية هنا بمراقبة انشطة هذه المطاعم! التعامل غير احترافي مع العملاء والاسعار مرتفعة اكثر من مطاعم الاتراك. اصبحت اكره المطاعم العربية بسبب عدم...

This restaurant is the best Arabic food I've tasted anywhere in the world (including Lebanon). Everything is first-class: Hummus, mtabal, mouhamara, baba ghanoush, mehshi, mloukhie, kebe naye, cherry kebab (I've had almost everything on the menu). Desserts are plentiful and sublime. Even their Arabic coffee is amazing. If you fancy breakfast than fava beans or mamounie are fantastic too. I've been there 10 times during my last 2 visits (I usually never go back a second time to the same place when travelling). And it's incredibly inexpensive. It will never cost you more than 8 US$ per person (and you'll have enough food for 3), which is very cheap for Istanbul. Plenty of vegan options too.

I'd venture to say that it's even better than what my Mom does (don't tell her).

Don't listen to those who diss this place, they have no palate and hence no credibility. Service is good. Decor is nothing to write home about but who cares when you're getting a life-altering gustative nirvana. Don't ask for a friend request if you give this place less than 5 stars.

Not in the most interesting neighborhood but accessible via an easy cab or tram ride from Sultanahmet.

Do yourself a favor and go there pronto. This place alone almost justifies a trip...

Great place to enjoy the Syrian “Aleppo” cuisine.. Absolutely thrilled to have found this place.. Enjoyed the delicious different dishes which nearly taste as homemade.. As someone who has been abroad for years, it felt like home.. Place is moderate and small.. service is ok.. prices are fair.. If you are longing for homemade Syrian food then definitely recommend.

⭕️ This is my old review.. visited yesterday and I have to say I definitely changed my mind about the whole experience..! Prices went really up.. Food tastes not as used to be.. and saying this, I only decided to update my review after few visits recently.. the standard has definitely changed and its not anymore the nice old experience.. NOT RECOMMENDED IN RAMADAN.. not service wise, nor food wise and definitely money wise!!! I hope my review will be taken into consideration as I really used to love...
