Simple, quick, pide/lahmacun place in Karakoy, in busy pedestrian area of town. Seating on very low stools outside, limited inside. Very small place, but super friendly guy (volunteers to take our picture), attentive, quick, service. Gave us wipes, napkins when he noticed... makes a difference. WC right there too, very nice touch. Last pide shop we went to, asking for WC, the guy pointed at the train station...gee, thanks :(.

The meat pie was well done, tasty but not spicy, enough meat, but not too meaty, crispy bread coating (the 'stone' in tasfirin?) fresh lemons and parsley, ample left beside us. All for 60TL each (we paid 40TL in Izmir last year, when it was 22TL/USD, the inflation pandemic continues in Turkiye...sadly).

Complaint: getting asked for 'baksheesh' from working guy as we paid. Not...

Istanbul #16, Turkish #12, Lahmacun #1: walked by here a few times, and it was always crowded/busy. Was craving lahmacun and remembered to check this place on Google Maps and saw all the great ratings, so we came here for first "lunch"/a snack.

We shared a lahmacun $100 and an ayran $30. I really enjoyed the lahmacun. It's super fresh and you can watch the guys making it and see it come fresh out of the oven. It's served with plenty of lemons, parsley, and various spices you can add table-side.

Besides enjoying the food, I really enjoyed the vibe/outdoor seating, and all the people there were very friendly and made me feel welcome. I will definitely return and would have gone more than once if my partner enjoyed lahmacun a...

On of the best Lahmacun places in İstanbul, the woodfired stone oven the freshly hot out the oven crispy pies with thier soft beef and greens batty is great, try fill it with the fresh parsley which comes on the side, squeeze a lemon on top then fold it, take a bite and closeyoureyes, to enjoy another one of those simple pleasures of life that will brighten up the day and make your Kadıköy trip even better. There two branches in the same which might be confusing. I say try them both because some people say they...

Very nice place if you are looking to enjoy some traditional Turkish street food such as lahmacun or pide. It’s a small place at the corner of the street, but serves very delightful food when you are looking for something quick or a little snack while walking the streets of Kadiköy. Have been here already a couple of times on my frequent visits to Istanbul and have never been disappointed. The guys serving the food are very nice and generous. The atmosphere has something of a street food festival and is quite joyful.
