Absolute disgrace of a service. Called in for a drink and bite to eat, felt very rushed to order with little time to look over menu.. pages of menu with no pricing. Asked about children’s menu, and they just said they have pizza, nuggets and chips etc but no menu to see or check prices. Ordered drinks and food including kids nuggets and chips. When they bought the food out they had ‘made a mistake’ and instead of nuggets had a full adult chicken schnitzel meal - they took that away and took ages to bring the correct nuggets meal out (we had nearly all finished our meals by this time). Came to pay the bill and they had charged us for the adult chicken meal!! When challenged they said yes it was for the nuggets and they couldn’t change the description, but the price was the most expensive item on the bill! I challenged this as why a kids nugget meal would be almost twice the price of a burger!! Waiter (who claimed he was new) tapped away for many minutes on a calculator then showed me the exact same total and said this was best he could do as the manager wasn’t there! After going back and forth on the matter and getting other staff involved (multiple minutes of calculator tapping again) and they reduced 100try off the bill. Absolute con, and then there’s the hidden ‘kuver’ (service charge) on top that you are never told about. Not...
Read moreGreat tasting, fresh, seafood with a touristic approach to ambiance and great view of boats (not ocean). This place is a great place to eat local seafood, I had the grilled sea bass with grilled calamari and prawns (all chosen from their fresh catch fridge) and they all tasted fantastic. For the food I paid around $20 in total. They have a great sauce to go with it! Also had their fresh pomegranate juice and their warm bread with sides (incl) which tasted great as well. The ambiance is definitely tourist guided with English menu and English music playing, decor is cute and you have the local boats from the harbor as view; I wouldn’t necessarily call it an ocean view location. The reason for the 4 stars is the lack of good side for the fish… the vegetables were a bit too weak for so much fish, would have been nice to break with something else, or better chosen vegetables. They also let you know they include service, tip, of 10% in their final bill which I personally don’t agree with (I would have left 10% regardless but I don’t appreciate it when restaurants decide for you, even if they let you know!) Good, friendly,...
Read moreHonest review: Food was good. Not amazing, but good. However, the prices if you are not an local, are horrible. Let me share my experience: prices are some of them in the menu and because sadly, I don't manage the language as I wish, they will hit you with the "traveler" price: "you will pay according to what I think you should". So again, food was good, the service was good, but again, it is nice when you travel and people charge you honestly. At the end of the day, I am not rich, and to eat my savings in food is not worthy... We have rice and protein plus 2 beers. The bill was stupidly expensive and when we challenge the bill, obviously, we lost the battle. What I recommend, check in advance (not only here), but everywhere, the prices and took a photo. If you can, find...
