I had a deeply disappointing experience at Mai Inci Hotel in Antalya. Despite booking a Deluxe Room through Agoda, upon arrival, we were informed by the front desk that only an Economy Room was available. The lady at the counter insisted that their system showed an economy room booking from Agoda. However, the receipt I got at checkout clearly stated that we had booked a Deluxe Room meaning they lied about the economy room all along. The lady and the porter knew all along that they were lying to us, we could see them smiling at each other. The only option they gave us was to cancel our booking and go someplace else which means i would loose my nonrefundable deposit and also pay high spot prices for nrw hotel. They make sure you are stuck with them with no option.
Due to apparent overbooking, we were given an Economy Room located on the -1 level, which was windowless and claustrophobic. After a long flight, I had to spend an hour arguing with the staff before they agreed to shift us the following morning. Consequently, we were forced to stay in the subpar room for one night, ruining our plans for the evening.
The next morning, after multiple visits to the front desk, we were finally moved to a Deluxe Room at 10 AM. However, this room had a broken lock, raising serious security concerns as it allowed staff members to enter without permission. Despite requesting a repair, no action was taken.
I also reported the situation to Agoda, but the hotel staff only responded after we checked out, and I am unsure of the inaccuracies they might have communicated in their response.
In summary, my stay at Mai Inci Hotel was marred by deceit and mismanagement. The staff’s tendency to overbook and provide whatever rooms are available, coupled with their dishonesty and lack of responsiveness, resulted in a highly unsatisfactory experience. I strongly advise future guests to be wary of potential overbooking issues and the hotel’s unprofessional conduct. This was by far the worst hotel experience I have had, significantly impacting my...

Our stay at Mai Ince Hotel was far beyond expectations and truly deserves more recognition. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Although we landed very early, the team welcomed us warmly with an early check-in, complimentary breakfast, and even surprised us with a free upgrade to a balcony room.
The managers, Emrah and Erai, were outstanding. Emrah is without doubt one of the most professional and attentive managers we have ever met, and together with Erai they ensured that every little detail of our stay was perfect. Both were cheerful, generous, and always checking in with us about our experiences, making us feel genuinely cared for.
The staff as a whole were respectful, kind, and quick to help. When a travel agency made a mistake with one of our bookings, the hotel stepped in immediately, contacted them on our behalf, refunded the transportation costs, and even gave us a discount on another trip. Such dedication to guest satisfaction is rare to find.
We also appreciated the thoughtful gestures throughout our stay, free extra water bottles whenever we needed, complimentary coffee and tea before our departure, complimentary VIP transportation upon departure, and their constant readiness to provide anything we asked for.
The hotel’s location couldn’t be more convenient: just a 3-minute walk to the sea, surrounded by shops, and within 5 minutes of plenty of restaurants and cafés. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, making our time there comfortable and relaxing.
Overall, Mai Ince Hotel went above and beyond to make our holiday unforgettable. A huge thank you to Emrah and Erai for their warmth and professionalism, you made our stay...
Read moreMai Inci Hotel is in central Antalya only 100 metre back from the cliff edge. It is a short walk to central shops or to the old town of Kaleiçi. There is street parking outside or the hotel staff will take a vehicle to a nearby car park. A taxi rank is virtually outside and a tram stop within 100 metre.||The from of the hotel does not face the sea, so the appearance from this direction can be deceptive, being through the ground floor of an apartment block.||Everyone was friendly and helpful in both English and Turkish. There is a courtyard and breakfast room where drinks from the bar can be taken.||Typical Turkish breakfast with the addition of sausages. There was limited indoor seating so breakfast was crowded on an uncharacteristic cold winter's day. If lone travellers had not spread out over tables for 4, then there would have been adequate space. Buffet style, but requests for coffee are made at the bar. Initially it seemed only tea was available, because the coffee ordering process was not explained nor given on a notice.||The room was of good enough size with a small balcony and a street view. Some single rooms are underground. Some rooms look down on the garden and the back of the apartment block in front. Beds were comfortable and ensuite shower room provided with enough towels and soaps. Everywhere was clean. Air con gave heat too. Kettle and fridge in the room.||There are various standards of room, which seem to be clearly explained in the hotel information on booking sites and the hotel website. The spa offers massages and a steam room but no pool.||We are frequent travellers to Antalya. We would stay again, because of the location and value for money in comparison to other hotels in this area where we have...
