Mermerli Restaurant — Restaurant in Muratpaşa

Greeted at entrance to be asked are we wanting food or drink. No hello or how are you. Gave that the benefit of the doubt plus the view was amazing. Whilst seating a waiter said its meat or fish only. I thought that was peculiar to say but replied with 'thats ok' They sat us down on a dirty table, which hadnt been cleaned from previous customers, together with dirty glasses. We had to ask for the menu when there were clearly 3 waiters stood metres from us chatting and playing on their phones. They really weren't attentive. When the food arrived, not once were we asked if it was ok or if there was anything else we wanted. Plus they got the drinks order wrong. Waiter who brought our food out was polite/ nice. Following our lunch we had to ask for the bill twice and when it came it was not itemised. We complained to management who replied 'what can you do?' Good location/view but not worth it due to the poor sevice and highly priced poor quality food we received. Other people got asked how their food was and they didn't get told its only a fish/meat restaurant. We couldn't help but notice they were all white customers and the difference in the treatment we received compared to them. Please avoid if you are asian/black! Worst experience in Turkey! Highly disappointed by the treatment by the staff.. we had walked into the restaurant for its view, only to have the worst treatment ever. Waiter asked if we would order food (we just wanted to enjoy some beer) and if not we were to sit in a sperate area with no view (and not in main area) - since we wanted to enjoy the view, we ordered food I witnessed and hence belive this differential treatment was not given other ppl as they were from different countries. They could just order drinks and sit in the main area On being confronted of this treatment to the waiter, he just started justifying himself and offered us 'free wet wipes' to make us feel better

Let me tell you, as a customer I feel pathetic dining in such a place.. were I have been treated differently only because i'm from a particular country (which just FYI - I'm very proud of)

Anyhow food was good, just a little pricey.. beer was good too.. personally not a good experience only because of the staff treatment..

We visited on the second last night of our trip to Antalya (last Friday night). No reservation we just walked in.... My friend didn’t want to climb the couple of steps to get to this place but I’m so glad we did! We were met with a warm welcome and shown to our seats.... the view was amazing! I’m so gutted we missed the sunset from here! We were waited on hand and foot by two lovely gentlemen (cannot remember their names unfortunately) who couldn’t do enough for us. The food was fantastic... loved the wine they recommended! The decor of the place is STUNNING! And such good value for money! The only thing I would say is that the toilets aren’t very nice (smelly) but that didn’t really bother me too much. Would absolutely return to...
