Parlak Restaurant — Restaurant in Muratpaşa

We got a steak they let us change the rice for chips (about 10 😲) we got spaghetti Bolognese and a side of salad along with a coke and Fanta. We ordered and straight away we got brought a bottle of water which was just placed on the table. About 5 mins later we opened the water as still waiting on our drinks and food. Our server then came back to the table asking questions about the steak which was was clear the first time what we wanted but his tone changed and was an aggressive tone. We should have walked out at that point but we were hungry which seems daft as there is loads of places to eat but for some reason after being spoken to like that we still stayed. Then the salad was brought to our table, it did look nice to be fair. We started eating the salad again about 5 mins later we asked for our drinks to be looked at like we were aliens. The drinks brought to our table about 10 mins after asking again. My Bolognese was then brought to the table and the plate I was eating the salad on taken from me with food still on it. I tasted a little of the Bolognese which was "warm" I waiting a min why husband tried to get the attention of one of the waiters ( who seemed to have all had a fall out or something. When they were walking past each other banging it to each other then shouting something in Turkish. Then 2 others would laugh behind the person's back and point. They would also all seem to take it in turns to come and stand behind us and play on their phones which is uncomfortable - like they are skiving) still trying to get someone's attention to see where our steak was I decided to eat mine as it wasn't that warm now. We waited and I finished mine and started on the salad again. We ended up speaking to the manager no apology for the missing food and the other thing he said was that he agreed that the dinner should come out together. We asked another server to come over and told them that we was still waiting on a steak. His reply was so am I it just takes longer to cook. We explained that I had already eaten mine why my husband just watched then I will have to do the same when his finally comes. I would not recommend this restaurant at all. It was like amateurs shouting and arguments round our table, laughing and pointing and others I would think it looked a bit like bullying. We was then slapped with a service charge on our bill are they joking we told them we wasn't paying it as the service is shocking they did knock it off the bill. They also charge you for the water not much but I assume that's why they bring you drinks straight away and ignore you when you ask for them so you need a drink and open the water. The picture is of spaghetti Bolognese, side salad, steak and the last one is of my finished dinner when my husband's had arrived which I had actually finished about 10 mins before his arrived as I started eating the salad why waiting. The steak looked nicer than it was and for the money they charged for it your better going...

We came across this place as we were walking through town trying to find a nice place to eat. This place is a little hidden gem and has such a lovely setting the dining. The level of customer service at this restaurant was absolutely incredible 5* service. The waiters were SO friendly and welcoming.

We ordered our food and it arrived promptly. The portions were perfect, the food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious.

We had an unpleasant experience with a drunken customer that kept bothering us. The waiters alerted the manager who then came out to ask if we were okay. The waiters then spoke to us to ensure we were looked after and felt safe as they advised us if we needed anything they’ll help us which so lovely of them. The drunken customer then followed us out insisting we go for a drink with him to which we refused and he carried on walking with us but the waiters walked outside keeping an eye out on us. We managed to get rid of him thankfully but the staff at the restaurant were so incredible and I praise them SO highly for protecting their female customers. God bless you guys ....

Great food. Poor service. Poor business practices.

Went in for dinner. Refused water brought to table, knowing they would charge for it. Ordered the schnitzel and kofta in yogurt. They brought my kofta but tried to bring her chicken shish, which we refused. They did promptly correct the issue and brought the schnitzel out within 10 minutes. Both dishes were excellent.

But, it took nearly half an hour and multiple requests to 3 staff members to get our check. Then, as with many dishonest places in Antalya, when it came time for the check, the water and a 10% gratuity was added.

Gratuity should never be added for a table of 2. Ever. There is no justification. Earn your tip. Provide good service. There were several staff members standing around doing nothing, including 2 we asked for our check. Let them actually help instead of only a few servers able to do everything.

The food is great. The service is the opposite. And the dishonesty is getting to be tiresome. Bring people what they order, only what they order, and if something's extra, just tell us up front. No hiding. No lies. No cowardice. Just...
