Paçacı Şemsi — Restaurant in Muratpaşa

My father once told me that he used to go to this restaurant whenever he traveled to Antalya in the 1970s. Years later, after moving to Antalya permanently, it became one of my favorite restaurants in the area. After enjoying the nightlife, it was my go-to spot for a snack before heading home. They are famous for their soups, particularly the "Kelle Paça" (head and foot) which is undoubtedly the best. The restaurant's name is derived from this special dish. They also have a variety of other soups, such as "İşkembe" (stomach), chicken, and lentil, which I highly recommend. I was chatting to the chaps at Hotel Qinn on the reception desk about my wish to experience the genuine turkish side of life. They said I must visit here and their Kelli Paça as it is the best in Antalya. Obviously, once they explained what it was, both I and my British taste buds recoiled at the thought. I have been coming to this chain for close to four years now, but to a different branch, I’ve always ordered my favorite Piaz and I know exactly how it’s made. This time I took my foreign friend to this location to try it but the staff forgot one of the main ingredients and lied by saying that this is how they make it. Of course we didn’t eat it because it’s not the way to make it, yet they didn’t forget to included it in the bill.
