From the very first moment you step into Old Town Restaurant, you’re greeted not just with a warm welcome, but with a sense of nostalgia that instantly sets it apart from any modern dining experience. The atmosphere is nothing short of enchanting – rustic wooden interiors, vintage decor pieces, and soft ambient lighting create a space that feels both timeless and inviting. It’s like stepping into a beautifully preserved chapter of the past, where every detail is lovingly curated to tell a story.
The service is exemplary – attentive without being intrusive, genuinely kind, and knowledgeable about every item on the menu. It’s clear the staff take pride not only in their work, but also in being a part of something special.
As for the food – where do I begin? Every dish is a celebration of tradition and flavor. Whether you’re enjoying one of their perfectly spiced meat dishes, rich and hearty stews, or freshly baked breads, you can tell that everything is prepared with care and authenticity. The ingredients are fresh, the portions generous, and the presentation thoughtful without being overdone. There’s a real sense of home-cooked love in every bite.
Old Town Restaurant isn’t just a place to eat – it’s an experience. It’s a place where stories are shared over candlelight, where meals linger and laughter echoes. In a fast-paced world, this restaurant offers a rare and beautiful pause – a return to something more genuine, more soulful. I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re seeking a memorable culinary experience rooted in charm and character, Old Town Restaurant is...
Read moreFAKE REVIEWS!!! STAY AWAY! SCAM and a Tourist trap! Don’t go here! Food is very average and portion is extremely small. If you order Kebab, they provide you just the meat and expect you to order rice, chips and salad separately. I’ve never seen anything like this anywhere. They are extremely friendly and invited us showing google reviews. Once we reviewed the menu it seemed that prices would average 300-400 but we ended up being charged around 750 in the end. Total bill was 4580! Taste was very average - I’ve had Turkish food everywhere else in Europe, the only thing that aligns with this place is the price but quality is terrible! I strongly DO NOT recommend this place! Stay AWAY!
Response to owner:
Unfortunately, the bill still does not add up based on the menu prices and what we ordered. Additionally, I would like to suggest that focusing on transparency and improving customer service would better serve your business in the long term rather than dismissing genuine feedback.
Also, it’s concerning to see what appears to be an inconsistency between many positive reviews and the actual experience we had. Rather than inflating your rating with questionable reviews, consider listening to your customers’ feedback to improve the dining experience. Honest business practices will always go further than taking advantage of tourists..
I hope you reflect on this feedback for the sake of your business and the reputation of the country and people...
