From the very first moment you step into Old Town Restaurant, you’re greeted not just with a warm welcome, but with a sense of nostalgia that instantly sets it apart from any modern dining experience. The atmosphere is nothing short of enchanting – rustic wooden interiors, vintage decor pieces, and soft ambient lighting create a space that feels both timeless and inviting. It’s like stepping into a beautifully preserved chapter of the past, where every detail is lovingly curated to tell a story.

The service is exemplary – attentive without being intrusive, genuinely kind, and knowledgeable about every item on the menu. It’s clear the staff take pride not only in their work, but also in being a part of something special.

As for the food – where do I begin? Every dish is a celebration of tradition and flavor. Whether you’re enjoying one of their perfectly spiced meat dishes, rich and hearty stews, or freshly baked breads, you can tell that everything is prepared with care and authenticity. The ingredients are fresh, the portions generous, and the presentation thoughtful without being overdone. There’s a real sense of home-cooked love in every bite.

Old Town Restaurant isn’t just a place to eat – it’s an experience. It’s a place where stories are shared over candlelight, where meals linger and laughter echoes. In a fast-paced world, this restaurant offers a rare and beautiful pause – a return to something more genuine, more soulful. I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re seeking a memorable culinary experience rooted in charm and character, Old Town Restaurant is...

FAKE REVIEWS!!! STAY AWAY! SCAM and a Tourist trap! Don’t go here! Food is very average and portion is extremely small. If you order Kebab, they provide you just the meat and expect you to order rice, chips and salad separately. I’ve never seen anything like this anywhere. They are extremely friendly and invited us showing google reviews. Once we reviewed the menu it seemed that prices would average 300-400 but we ended up being charged around 750 in the end. Total bill was 4580! Taste was very average - I’ve had Turkish food everywhere else in Europe, the only thing that aligns with this place is the price but quality is terrible! I strongly DO NOT recommend this place! Stay AWAY!

Response to owner:

Unfortunately, the bill still does not add up based on the menu prices and what we ordered. Additionally, I would like to suggest that focusing on transparency and improving customer service would better serve your business in the long term rather than dismissing genuine feedback.

Also, it’s concerning to see what appears to be an inconsistency between many positive reviews and the actual experience we had. Rather than inflating your rating with questionable reviews, consider listening to your customers’ feedback to improve the dining experience. Honest business practices will always go further than taking advantage of tourists..

I hope you reflect on this feedback for the sake of your business and the reputation of the country and people...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at OLD TOWN, a traditional Turkish restaurant located in the kaleici area.

The owner and staff at OLD TOWN truly know how to convince you to dine at their restaurant. Their genuine passion for their cuisine and attention to detail create an inviting atmosphere that is hard to resist. They were attentive to every need and made me feel like a valued guest.

Now, let's talk about the food. The quality of the dishes at OLD TOWN is truly outstanding. Each bite was a burst of authentic Turkish flavors that transported me to the vibrant streets of Istanbul. The menu offers a wide variety of traditional dishes, from succulent kebabs to flavorful mezes and aromatic stews. The ingredients were fresh, the spices perfectly balanced, and the presentation was exquisite.

I can't stress enough how highly I recommend OLD TOWN. Whether you're a lover of Turkish cuisine or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, this restaurant will not disappoint. The owner and staff's dedication to their craft, coupled with the excellent food quality, make it a must-visit in the kaleici area. Trust me, you won't be...

Had dinner here after reading all the positive reviews. I have to say, this was the only restaurant on the road that didn’t have anyone continuously trying to get customers in and pretty much every table was taken. They give you free bread as most places do, as well as yoghurt and a tomato salad, however we saw it being microwaved to warm it up and it’s just soggy dough, not to mention the fact it was just picked up with the man’s hands even though he had just cleared customers plates and didn’t wash his hands. The kebab was good but definitely had better in Kaleici, Side and Alanya. Service was top notch and all the staff were very friendly. Suppose the reason for writing this as honest and clear for you all to know is that once our plates had been cleared, we watched them save the rest of the bread we hadn’t eaten and the tomato salad to give to the next customer. Equally it cost pretty much £30 for 2 plates of donor meat and rice, a coke and one beer. This is 100% what we saw in practice by the staff here tonight, but I’ll let you all decide if it’s the place for you or not.

Amazing service, very kind and helpful and honest staff. Both dishes were very tasty, juicy and fresh. The brought us free mezze and yoghurt dip with fresh bread before the food which were tasty as well. After lunch they brought us free tea which was very good too. They will recommend getting salad or soup, or the fresh juice which they also make instead of the bottled juice for example, but up selling is part of any good waiter's job, if you say no they're extremely respectful and polite about it of course. We came for the reviews and we were not let down, we were very vary of not getting scammed while dining in the center but instead they ended up charging us TOO LITTLE, and when I brought it up with the waiter and then the owner that we should be paying MORE they were super friendly and still charged us the lower amount, so we just tipped instead. Ibrahim was out waiter, and unlike other restaurants, these guys didn't ask us to review them but I feel like it's only fair to appreciate their good work amongst so many other tourist traps.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to the Old Town Restaurant. After being scammed on the first day of our trip, we looked on Google for a good restaurant. Luckily, we found one. We ate at the restaurant a few times during our six-day stay in Antalya, and it was absolutely fantastic every time. The food, the hygiene, the staff – it was all spot on. The boss is great. After we first visited, he offered us a big free salad each time, and Turkish tea, of course! Yes, Please! ! My kids are big fans of yours – you guys are doing a great job! If you're a first-time tourist, I'd recommend going straight to the Old Town Restaurant for your first meal. That way, you'll quickly learn what to expect from authentic Turkish food and Turkish people. No nonsense here!
