Foreigners and locals, this is a warning for you.
Please AVOID this restaurant at all cost. They do not even deserve one star!!!
They are a DISGRACE to the Turkish tourism. Do you know what they are good at? Charging at ridiculous price for kebaps, pricier than high end restaurants. Always make sure to ask how much are the kebaps upfront - it comes in Small, Medium, Large. Make sure you ask how much first before ordering and double check prices. It doesn't match the menu. So they coax you with the menu and then when the bill comes, it's not the same!!! Then, they will try to argue with you. BIG FRAUDSTERS. Every single one of them who works there is a SCAMMER. Not to mention, they DO NOT practice food hygiene. The guy making kebaps was handling raw meat with his hands and then touching the salads etc. How disgusting.
I had food poisoning after consuming the food there.
Trust me on this, I can bet my mother's life on it.
Next step is for me to lodge a formal complaint with the Turkish Ministry of tourism as they should not SCAM foreigners who helps the tourism economy. Beautiful country but ruined by horrible locals such as these...
Read moreI wish there was something lower than one star for this place. Tourists: stay clear of this place. Food was ok, nothing special, however when the bill came we had a nasty surprise. What they don't tell you is that the price on the menu is per grams so if you order a medium size, you will be charged more than double.
Our first clue should have been the foreign family sitting next to us when we arrived who had an argument about the bill but we didn't pay too much attention. Our second clue should have been when they asked us about the döner size, small, medium and large. We're from Germany and there no one has ever asked about the size. A döner is always the same. And speaking of Germany, we would never pay this much here for 2 people in a kebab shop.
What should have been around 70 Tl for two döner meals give or take a some liras for the medium size and drinks ended up being 140 TL. And to top it all, they add a 10% service charge. They didn't even clearly explain the grams situation, or the difference between the small and medium size.
On our way out, the waiters were getting into a fight with some customers, I can only...
Read moreHaving just eaten here, service was ok and very friendly at first. It was me, my wife and 3 kids and a toddler. We were reasonably hungry so we ordered some grilled prawns and fried calamari. He then recommended the mixed kebab for us and stupidly enough we didn't ask the price. It came out a massive tray of meat that could easily feed 6 to 8 adults. We perhaps managed about a quarter and as we are flying out the next day, we didn't take it away so it was binned. Then came the bill. €280!!! We challenged him as to why he gave us so much when he clearly saw our family would never be able to finish it. He didn't bat an eyelid when we asked for a discount as it was so much wasted. SCAM SCAM SCAM. It took me a while to find them here as the name has changed, our receipt shows Haci Usta Kebabcisi but their sign says Haci Emmi then on here they are called Turkmen. More like scammen. Impossible to find by name but I googled their phone number and this came up. Stay very far away from...
