Simone is amazing! This is where I want to start. I'm in love with her cooking and her personable character. We stayed in nearby hotel, and she was closest restaurant to us. It is a simple looking restaurant, nothing fancy, but has nice sits outside to enjoy your time. And I am very particular to taste of food, perfection, good cooking is important to me, can't lie to my palates 🙂. Hotel personnel referred a little farther restaurants, about 5-10 minutes walk. We checked them out but were wondering about Simone's restaurant. So decided to check it out. Our first food was sandwich with local fish, which was grouper. Oh my God how tasty and juicy she made that fish! She could bring all the taste out onto your taste buds! Me and my husband loved it and remembered the taste. We compared the taste she created to fancier restaurants and she slayed it, she was on top for us, equal to the best! We talked to the person who brought the food and found that it was Simone, the owner herself! She does the cooking, she makes sure herself personally her guests are well accomodated and served. We talked to her and I right away loved her warm personality. She was serious at first before we talked, but as soon as we aksed questions her nice personality gave the way. We surely started going there every day after that, we had short time on the island so it was three times total, but we had a chance to try her another cooking of fresh fish by her, which we asked her to do her favorite way, basically have freedom inwhat she'll create for us. That was another oh my god tasty. One whole snapper was very big for me and my husband but we finished it! Thank you Simone! One thing to know and be patient is that she cooks upon order, so it is frehly made, but this means you have to be patient to wait for your order to come. This is perfectly fine for me because I do pay attention to it, if food comes too early, it means it is not freah, it is premade, I don't trust quickly brought out food. I'm ready to wait for freshly custom made food made specifically for me. Feels like a treat. I'm definitely visiting her any time I'm there on islands for vacation! After we tried her food and high rating restaurants, me and my husband would just look at each other and say: why should we go to other restaurants when we have Simone just next to us? And that's it, our choice made. I could write more and more, but I think tthere is no more spce left. We love you Simone! Your restaurant is a gem we found.

Read moreI JUST got home from the island yesterday and am so sad to not be sitting at Simone’s with a raspberry mojito right now. Simone was AMAZING. Her and her daughter Nay are some of the kindest people I have ever met. Their seafood and their breakfast are absolutely amazing! My friend and I went the first day we got there for some drinks and snacks and were there every other day that they were open after that! They are very attentive, remembered our names and my friend’s birthday, which was amazing. There was one night I ended up going to Baci (a restaurant down the street from Simone) on my own, and Simone was there with some of her regulars. She saw me by myself, called me over to sit with them and we had a great time. They also helped us get in contact with a taxi driver who we used the whole trip. He was great. I ate paella and I felt it needed more identifiable protein in it. One muscle, two shrimp, cubed meat, and a cup of yellow rice for $22 is lacking. I've eaten paella in Spain and I didn't expect this to compete but I did expect a little more. The server seemed new but did great after finding out fish was not available after she took our order. This is probably not her fault but a lack of communication from the top down. They have an opportunity to shine in their location.
