Aura Lounge — Restaurant in Kampala

I was so excited for my first time going to Aura, but after visiting, I can never go back there. What is wrong with establishments who position themselves as classy, elegant and upmarket yet they cannot even train their staff to have basic manners? I have never experienced such rudeness from the waitresses who act like they are better than you and treat you according to how much you're planning to spend on the night. One waitress got my drink order wrong but instead of apologising for her mistake, gave me an evil look and told me I was lying. How could I be lying when I asked her for a repeat of the same drink I had previously ordered, which was still in my hand. So she could clearly see what it was I was drinking or she could have checked the previous order on tab. She then rudely told me I had to pay before she could bring me a drink. She then bought back the correct drink only to be in bad mood and made some of the drink spill over on the table (of course no apology). I see great potential in this place... The setting is so well done and so spacious. You can just see that a lot of money has been injected in the place to make it look as good as it looks. The vibe is on point even though it's a new place, with a new setting(I think there are many former loyal members of the old place) There was a crowd just vibing to the mood of the place. There is currently no entrance fee and I hope it keeps up with that. And also enough staff to keep the tables running. The mood was just right. I found myself watching the matches on the TVs which I never do when alone so I should say there is something right cooking here. The drinks are priced at upscale prices, because the place obviously screams upscale, but it's worth it. There are enough tables to sit if you get there before the crowd grows. A VIP section next to the DJ box. There are meals served here too so don't be hungry. All in all, I hope to see what this place turns out to be a few...

Was disappointed I ordered for the drinks and the waitress brought them!! While am still drinking and my sister’s drink got finished so I order for her another round not knowing that the waitress was behind us with the bill yet we had not asked for it!! She is like we have to first pay and then order again to me this is kind of stupidness how would u judge someone’s pocket!!! Please improve on steps of service I work in 5*Restaurant in Dubai that issues of bring bill to the guest while they are still seated enjoying their drink/food, u can even be terminated!!
