Food was wonderful, but prices per each dish/portion on the bill were higher than on the menu! We were not informed about it! This is shame for such a lovely place. Be aware of this.
Just take a look at the prices on the bill and compare it to the menu and you'll know everything. Prices are higher both for piece and per 100g for each position! Moreover there is additional 100g position for fish, which is rather strange for 1 fish ordered. This of course can be explained that it was mistake, order for someone else etc. Anyway it creates unecessary ambiguity, and from some comments below I can assume this is not accident, but rather a routine. Read moreI was running late from the out of town trip and made it in the restaurant at 10:20 pm, which was 10 minutes before the "hot" kitchen was shut down for the day.
Nazar, who was running the patio, did everything to show how displeased he was with the late visitors, including reminding everyone the restaurant is closing soon, checking his watch, shutting down the music, and winding up the wind/sun cover while the guests are still dining. Someone should remind him what Georgian culture is all about.

The service is good, and the food is excellent. It takes some time to prepare, but once you get it, you understand why -- and in any case, the menu tells you how long you'll have to wait (varies by dish). The staples -- khinkali, khachapuri -- are good, but it's worth it to dig into the other dishes... they do an excellent job with flavor. I personally enjoy the kharcho, but I tend to ask for it...
