Confectionery-pharmacy Ionic Under the Golden Star — Restaurant in Lviv Urban Hromada

Food is so so, and on the pricier side. But, we were kindly “forced” to try these liquors, and we did fall for that... the tiny little glasses they brought, pretty much exploded in my girlfriend’s hand. The table top is made from marble, it’s looking nice, but it causes the glasses to crack, when put normally, as you would do in the other places. Funny, they brought the check for the cracked glass quicker than cleaning tools needed to clean up the mass. I was surprised we had to pay for it, and the price was ridiculous, we paid almost as much as, for the food and drinks we ordered. Now, the store employees told me, after I inquire how did they came up with such a ridiculous price for the tiny little glass, “ohh we know it by now for every single piece, it happens, table tops are made from marble - hard surface”. Nothing special about this place, food wasn’t that good, and they could had put a cloth on top of these tables, yet they figured they can make additional income charging customers for cracks. Before accepting a (really good looking) cake, do ask its cost, so you are not shocked when receiving the bill later. I was charged €8,50 for a piece, and when asking for an explanation, as this was the highest I paid during 3 days, I got a rude answer; "we do not speak English here (which she in fact did), you are in Ukraine, You are the problem, just PAY!"... A brand new luxury confectionery cafe opened recently in a place which used to be a historical pharmacy. They serve coffes and teas with a selection of sweets that were available at the beginning of the previous century. The cafe consists of two large halls one split into two floors and the other having a first floor inner walls terasse with a view downside.
